"We absolutely enjoyed our stay in that house. It is cozy, equipped with everything you need and has a fantastic view. It is the perfect house also when it is raining and windy, what can happen often in Denmark. Using the fireplace and playing board games makes also these days enjoyable. "Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."
