"They were short of staff. Our room had no AC. Our room could be cleaner. Very simple hotel, nothing luxurious. Limited food choices. Misleading pictures. "

"Beautifully situated by the ancient bridge into the old Roman city of Allariz, it was a perfect location to stay. "

"Astonishingly beautiful renovated palace with stunningly kept gardens and fountains. Fruit trees and flowers abound. The rooms are tastefully furnished with antiques and are spacious and light filled. The restaurant is closed on Monday so it’s a challenge to get food as it’s a long drive from town. The breakfast buffet is excellent especially the seating area. I would return here just to stay here again!"

"this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"
