Baia Del Gadano - May 2023

Booked very early in the season so hotel was just opening up. Got upgrade to a slightly larger room as a shower and TV were not working properly. Staff were very helpful. Important point to mention - if driving to this hotel it requires some patience as there is limited signage to the hotel, have to drive through very narrow roads.

Our family (7 people 3 rooms) had a great stay. The facility is very clean and up to date. The rooms are spacious with the air conditioning working wonderfully! The beach is as advertised, small, but a cove. Crystal clear water, and great sand lent for a wonderful beach stay, our first time in the region. Parking is tight, and the road to get there is “slightly” a one lane that supports 2 directional cars, all part of the adventure…. Go slow and remember you are in Italy! We had one snafu which was expensive. 2 of the 7 people met us at the hotel (different flight/car). I bought the family’s hotel rooms, Expedia only allowed me to book 5 people (and rooms). The 2 extra people (in the same rooms) cost us $1,000 for 3 nights! That seemed unfair to me.

Only one restaurant with limited options that barely change. The food was HORRIBLE. they should be ashamed trying to pass this off as italian cuisine. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else. Also the property has no beach. the picture is very decieving. you cant swim in those coves, its just rocks with a bit of water. you can go left or right to try an swim but this stretch of beach is all rocks regardless. The property was very small, 27 rooms only, and quiet. Very CLEAN! and very well maintained. if your looking for a sleepy place to spend a few days this is your place. just go eat somwhere else.

Sehr sympathisches Strandhotel

Auf einem sehr steilen und engen Weg erreicht man das Hotel, welches direkt am Meer liegt. Unser Zimmer hatte Meerblick und der Weg zum kleinen eigenen Strandabschnitt war kurz. Wenn man die ebenfalls kleinen Strandabschnitte der Nachbarhotels überquerte, kam man jeweils an einen schönen Strand mit kristallklarem Wasser. Atemberaubend war abends der Blick vom Restaurant auf den Stromboli. Ebenfalls außergewöhnlich war die Freundlichkeit des Hotelpersonals. Unser geräumiges Zimmer war etwas verschnitten und das Mobiliar hinterließ keinen bleibenden Eindruck.

Tremenda decepción

Muy incómodo el acceso al hotel, fea playa, de piedras, te cobran diez Euros el alquiler de las toallas, es un hotel que anuncia tener gimnasio pero está en un lugar abierto y con cuarentena grados de temperatura imposible de usar, además no está bien equipado. El desayuno malo, lo peor de todos los hoteles que contraté en este último tiempo

Kleines, wunderschönes Hotel mit Top-Aussicht

Der Aufenthalt im Baia del Godano war für uns fantastisch. Es handelt sich um ein kleines, sehr gemütliches, schickes, freundliches Hotel direkt am Meer. Wir hatten die Junior Suite mit 40 qm mit Namen Stromboli, die als einzige einen unmittelbaren Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer und den Vulkan Stromboli hat. Aber auch alle anderen Zimmer bzw. Junior Suiten, die dann in der schönen Gartenanlage liegen, sind nach vielen Gesprächen mit anderen Gästen sehr komfortabel und empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, besonders hervorheben möchte ich Pasquale, ein sehr zuvorkommender und liebenswürdiger Kellner, und die deutschsprachige Mitarbeitern der Rezeption Jana. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und lecker. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht und das Restaurant nur am ersten Abend genutzt - für Fischliebhaber ist das mit Sicherheit sehr gut, aber wir bevorzugen eher Pizza und Pasta. Daher haben wir zumeist das nahe Restaurant Xanthos mit leckerer Napoli Pizza, einem gigantischen Ausblick bei günstigen Preisen genutzt. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön angelegt. Der Strand ist klein und durch Steine begrenzt, aber direkt daneben erstreckt sich ein breiter und langer Strand. Auch Schnorcheln ist lohnend. Unser Auto war sehr gut auf dem beschrankten Parkplatz untergebracht. Kostenloser Shuttle bis nach oben zur Hauptstraße per Elektrofahrzeug wird angeboten. Fitnessgeräte im Freien. Tolle Anlage mit liebevollem Personal und traumhaften Ausblicken - Erholung pur.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr gutes Restaurant. Man wird hervorragend verpflegt. Der Privatstrand ist sehr klein und mit großen Steinen vom direkten Meerzugang abgeschnitten. Man muss etwas weiter gehen um schwimmen zu können. Tagsüber und Abends laute Musik von Hotels und den Stränden nebenan. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Bademützen im Pool sind etwas aus der Zeit gefallen. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert. Bei der Anfahrt sollte man sich auf enge Straßen einstellen 😎.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Everyone was so kind and we really enjoyed staying here. The food was also amazing and we loved the beach access and relaxing pool. The only thing we didn’t like was that the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I was sore each morning and had to go out in town to buy a pillow since we are only provided with one each and they are extremely flat. We only had sheets, no comforter or duvet which was also disappointing, especially for an expensive resort
