We had a wonderful stay at Villaggio Cala di Volple! You should know that this is a family-friendly resort. Great salt water pool and steps from the beach. The dining facility was also easily accessible. Bring your own beach towels as they do not provide them for you. Meal options are limited (3 choices per course) and are very basic and prices are high comparatively. For example, my husband ordered a rigatoni pasta dish for 14 euro. It had 19 pieces of pasta on the plate and lacked seasoning. It was ridiculous. We saw other guests ordering items not on the menu and were disappointed that those options were not advertised. Pizza is typically an option although only available one day during our stay. Parking was on site but the spaces are very small. Check in and check out was easy. The bedding was comfortable. We wanted a laid-back beach experience and that is exactly what we got! The best feature is the insanely beautiful sunset views. Overall good value, we would stay here again.

Bella struttura ma si può migliorare con poco.

La camera, con una spettacolare vista sul mare, era confortevole e attrezzata con cucina, pentole, piatti, bicchierie posate. Purtroppo il bagno era completamente sprovvisto di sapone, bagnoschiuma, shampoo, ecc. Ottimo il servizio di navetta che fa continuamente la spola tra la parte alta e la parte bassa del villaggio. Gentili e disponibili al servizio ristorazione. La sera di ferragosto, nonostante non avessimo prenotato ed il ristorante fosse pieno, hanno velocemente provveduto a recuperare un tavolo e a sistemarci.

The resort was great, we had a very comfortable and clean accommodation overlooking the sea and the volcanic island of Stromboli. The staff was extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. The food at the restaurabt was tasty and the menu would chabge daily. Its a very family friendly resort.

Hotel In Calabria

Lovely resort with outstanding views of the ocean and on a clear day can see stomboli and had access to beautiful beaches. Two beautiful pools conviently located. Room very well suited to family of 5. Use of laundry very expensive at 5 euros per load. Had to pay a great deal extra for bed linen and towels which were not changed daily after paying over 100 euros extra. Staff did not speak any English in any part of the resort. Staff in restaurant not overly hospitable and most requests seemed to be a hassle.
