We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Village Motel. Easy check in, safe & quiet area and the room was super clean. The grounds look very nice and you can tell the owners take pride in their property. We will definitely return in the future. Do not hesitate to book a room at the Village Motel.

Great place to stay for a Cooperstown Dream Park Visit about 17 minute drive. Very affordable and nice and clean and lady running is was super nice and helpful… 10 Stars in my opinion

Our experience there was awesome. It was nice and quiet. Close by to food, gas, and groceries. The drive to Cooperstown is scenic and not to far. Clean and friendly service. The water is hot and stays hot, so very relaxing after a day at the ballfield.

Spot-on in terms of convenience for this visit, A-1 cleanliness, responsiveness of staffing. Comfort lacking due to my ineptness w/HVAC. Same w/TV-WIFI. Only AAA or AARP discounts would have made the stay more appealing. Guaranteed to stay again --hopefully next year.

Had a great stay at The Village Motel. Owners were very friendly ,had a problem with the smoke detector in our room and they were very quick in solving the issue. Would definitely stay there again. Conveniently located close to local amenities and Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.

amazing place to stay

Best hotel that we have stayed in for a while. Very clean and smelled fresh and clean every day my husband and I stayed for 5 days for a tournament at Cooperstown dream park. and with only a 20min drive to Cooperstown very well recommended. Owner is very kind, helpful and defiantly maintains the property.

Is not a fancy place, but the rooms are super clean. The person running the front desk stayed to check us in when I called late on a Sunday evening so we would be able to have a room. That meant a whole lot after spending 12 hours on a motorcycle. Thanks so much!

Small town motel dated, but well cared for

Owner/manager was very helpful and room was clean. Facility is dated, but bathroom was updated and AC worked great. Beds a bit on the soft side but comfortable. We thought it a good value for a small town location. It's about 15 minutes by car from Cooperstown.

The owners were very friendly and do all the work of the motel themselves. The motel has the charm of an old upstate NY motel. Very clean, new fixtures in the bathroom, comfortable beds, and convenient appliances such as a useable fridge with freezer that is big enough to put blue ices, microwave. Pretty pots of zinnias outside the rooms and a place to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would come again.

Ok for one night stay

Small motel which served the purpose for a one night stay. Room was clean and quiet overall. The A/C was loud when it ran and came on and off a lot. Room also not real dark to to outside lighting. Convenient diner located just down the street for bfast.

Basic but good

This is what a basic motel should be. Clean, comfortable with reasonable furnishing and equipment. Location is very close to the village, with a bar, diner, Chinese and two pizza places. Grounds are nicely kept and it’s back from the road, so sitting on the porch is pleasant. Appreciated the free bottles of water and the USB power points. A/C is noisy but powerful.

Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Location is good for where we needed to be. We’ve stayed here twice now. They put the strongest “air fresheners” in the rooms. Both times we’ve had to put it on the outside of the window and shut it out so we can’t smell it. The smell makes me feel sick. The 2nd time we stayed I also noticed the smell of whatever detergent/soap they use all over the blankets and pillows. It’s so strong that I almost had to sleep in the car. For all the hotels with unbelievably uncomfortable beds, these are definitely better than most. But the smells are so overpowering that I don’t think we’ll ever stay here again.
