Located in (Richland) Central Missouri lies the Gasconade Skyview Cabin. If you’re ready to relax with peace and quiet, looking for somewhere to spend quality time with the family, or looking for a nice place to stay while you visit one of the many beautiful sites Missouri has to offer, you have found the perfect place. This cabin is peacefully located in a secluded, wooded area right on the Gasconade River, about 2 miles down a gravel road. It is located a few miles off I-44.

Nearby attractions :
* Less than half-mile up the gravel road is Froggy’s River Resort where you can camp, canoe/kayak/raft rentals, fish, swim, or RV.

*20 miles from Fort Leonard Wood

* Within 1-hour drive- Beautiful Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Bennett Spring State Park and Meramec State Park (Trout Fishing), Lake of the Ozarks, Route 66 Museum, Lebanon I-44 Speedway, Tiger Typhoo Aquatic Center, World’s Largest Gift Store, and Redmon’s Candy Factory.

*Within 1.5 hrs. Near Springfield, there's Fantastic Caverns, Dickerson Park Zoo, Bass Pro, Wonders of Wildlife National Museum, and Aquarium, and more.

Weekend get away - in town for family wedding
The cabin was immaculate and instructions for everything were well explained and it was evident a lot of thought and time was put into making guests feel right at home. For those that like a little hill hiking, there was a really cool hill descent with a trail rope (maybe 500 - 600'long) that is affixed to trees going down the steep hillside to the bottom where it opens onto a river bank. It was gorgeous down there! The river can also be seen from the back porch, where there are 2 benches and 4 rocking chairs which is the perfect setting to sit and talk and play some music on a Bluetooth speaker. The hillside is fun, but a difficult trek for the elderly, out of shape or young children but if you like physically fit challenges, it was awesome! Scenery was gorgeous!!! This is a terrific place to get away for some solitude, family time and Mark was quick to respond to any questions I had at anytime. Wonderful weekend and I would love to return one day again! I would recommend this VRBO to anyone!

Beautiful and extremely clean!
The house was beautiful and very clean. It had all the essentials that were needed during our stay. Our son graduated from Fort Leonard Wood and this house was perfect for him to hang out and relax with us for a few days.

Reunion Trip
I was stationed at Ft. Leonardwood and still had friends up there. It was a great week of catching up and hanging out on the porch and grilling. Floating down the river, you name it. Super convenient to everything. Two things I wish were upgraded which are better couches and a full length mirror. Other than that the cabin was beautiful and very well thought out.

Beautiful, clean & quiet
This beautiful property was so nice and clean. It fit our family nicely and was close to Ft. Leonard Wood, so we could easily drive back and forth to see our son. The neighborhood was so quiet. It was great to be back in to nature and away from the business of life. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely check the availability of this house!
