Houston Richmond Avenue Hotels

"One of the cleanest and nicest hotels that I’ve ever stayed at in Houston. This will definitely be the place we stay at anytime we come here now."

"Property was fine, the first night of my stay a lady was yelling and ranting for over an hour, woke me up and the second night, around 3 am, very loud music playing. Not sure what rules or guidelines the property has now"

"When I arrived, they had overbooked the double queen bedrooms, and we had to stay in a king room with a cot for three people. They offered a $50/night discount, but when I went to check out, they stated it should have only been offered $150 to spend on hotel amenities. I was informed I had to call Hotels.com to have them confirm the discount and then the Royal Sonesta would credit my balance. Eventually, Hotels.com was able to credit me one full night and I did not have to communicate with Royal Sonesta any further. Additionally, during check-in it was not explained to us that we needed to select ahead of time that we wanted our rooms cleaned, so that did not occur during our stay. We had to ask for additional blankets/bedding for the cot as you could feel the springs in it. Our bathroom did not have an air vent. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again when visiting Houston, but was very thankful that Hotels.com was able to credit me for one night given our room situation. "

"The staff were great and there are no real negatives. The location is good and they have on site parking for about $30 a night. The room had a few small issues that were quickly corrected by the staff. The bathroom had sliding barn type doors so not a lot of privacy if you have people in the room. Nice pool area and I would consider staying here again "

"Friendly staff , Clean rooms. Shop on site. Breakfast is fresh, I’m just not a breakfast person but they have great coffees. There’s plenty Restaurants and shops around it’s within walking distance. "
