“This was a beautiful weekend getaway. My wife and I had a lovely time relaxing before we welcomed our second child. The house is a small quaint cottage, and we loved waking up to the sunrise and birds chirping. Between hammocks, kayaks, a firepit, and just sitting and watching nature it was a beautifully relaxing spot in basically a private nature preserve.Also the hosts provided a thorough document with what to bring, and places to visit/experience in the area.The attraction of the area is the……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at the little blue house. It is well furnished with a completely equipped kitchen. Peaceful water views. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds. Easy access to White Stone, Kilmarnock and Urbanna. We took advantage of getting take out at The River Market in White Stone and Something Different in Urbanna. Forrest was VERY responsive. All in all….a great stay. ”

“Hideaway at Hayes Beach was amazing It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with our family. We were lucky enough to get snow! My husband and I enjoy walking so it was a prefect place to for it. Would definitely recommend this place”

“Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! ……

“This little slice of heaven is our family's favorite getaway! We love being able to wake up in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee and beautiful sunrise stroll down the beach while hunting for sea glass and treasures. Kids enjoy playing in the sand, and the shallow water is perfect for a relaxing afternoon float! The home is cozy and clean and has everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay!”

“I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. As an unexpected surprise, there’s an auto ice maker in the freezer, saving me from having to make a trip to a store with the kids for……
