“Full kitchen made the multi-day stay easy after a quick shop at the nearby grocery store. Super clean, great shower, pool was uncrowded and nice. Staff was helpful by registering our two local grandsons so they could swim in the pool. Great air conditioning also. Fresh, modern, and very clean. Expensive, but this is peak season in Newport RI. ”

“Unbeatable location. Room with bare bones necessities to spend the night. Shared bathroom and shower with several other rooms but can’t beat the price if you’re looking for a decent bed in central Newport.”

“My husband and I went for a weekend and could not have enjoyed our stay more. Getting to and from the boat by the water taxi was super easy and a nice way to get around. Danielle met us on the boat to show us the ropes. Took about 10 min to get downtown by the water taxi- was nice not to worry about parking downtown! We spent our nights relaxing on the boat enjoying the beautiful views. We definitely plan on returning again!”

“A nice cozy couples spot. Clean and tidy. You will get more for your money then staying at a hotel. Decent view of the harbour. We would consider staying again if we have a reason to visit Warwick or RI again. It is located on a dead end residential area and the owners live on the property. They were very welcoming and not overbearing either.”

“We were in Newport for a wedding, and Admiral Sims House was a perfect complement to our needs for the trip. Our hosts were extremely accommodating by letting us check in early, and the room was exactly as depicted on the VRBO website. While we did not stay long enough to utilize many of the amenities of the property, it is clear that the hosts have listened to feedback from guests and done their best to make your stay comfortable and easy. It was very nice to start our morning with in-room……

“The unit was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Perfect for a couple of friends or family members for a weekend getaway. The location was further than anticipated. Parking was not easily accessible. We had to park several blocks away and had to make sure not to park in a “residents only” space. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

“A traditional family lake cottage. Peaceful, quiet, and rented with love. Everything from the thoughtful little notes in the home to the paintings on the wall makes you feel cozy and welcomed. Everything you could need or want is provided. The hot tub under the stars, on the water is really the icing on the cake.”

“This house is amazing. It fit us all comfortably and is beautifully decorated. Everything is all new and it has great outdoor space. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom had lots of towels. We didn’t get to go to the beach, but the garage was stocked with everything you would need. The host was very easy to contact and was very accommodating. My only advice would be to make sure you bring soap for the bathrooms. I was surprised to find out that there was none, ☺️”

Hubby and I had a weekend of events to attend including a wedding and even though the space is studio style, we had enough room to spread out and get ready without tripping over each other.
