The room (35) was dark due to the heavy, dark, old fashioned bedspreads, and matching drapes. The older style lamp next to the bed has a three- way but has just a single level LED bulb, just barely adequate for reading. The bathroom has multiple defects in the paint. The toilet is VERY low and difficult to access. The dated TV worked in the evening...

There was 1 lamp that didn’t light up the room. There was a ceiling light but in the evening over the bed it wasn’t a good choice. So we left the bathroom light on. 「The location on the water was the best part of this inn. The view from the room was beautiful. The three star rating is due to the amenities. The pool water was freezing cold, the hallway smelled of smoke (there were people smoking in their rooms and the smell came into the hallway) and the stairs to the room were steep and hard to carry luggage down. The room itself was clean.」
