“The log house on old Stone Road is a charming gem boasting a unique history. Our host and his family were invested in making our stay comfortable and memorable. Our dogs were also welcomed with walking trails on the property. This is a beautiful and comfortable home that easily accommodates 8 people. It was an excellent meeting place for our families. Westport is a mere 3 minute drive down the road. Ideally situated in the Rideau Lakes area. Highly recommend this property to future guests.”

“Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as……

“This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. ”

“The stunning home was in immaculate condition when we arrived. The host gave very clear instructions. The vibe in the home made it so easy to relax and spend quality time together. Everything we needed was there, and we couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful everything was. It was a perfect spot to cozy up in front of the fireplace, watch the game, and enjoy some munchies and wine. Highly recommend and we will be back! ”
