「We had a nice stay at this charming historic cottage while my daughter and her friend competed at the annual Millbrook Horse Trials over 4 days. The kitchen had everything needed plus they included some extras in the fridge such as filtered water, ice, coffee, etc. We loved to see the chickens running around too. We hope to return next year and book this same place once we have the dates!」

「Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Wish we'd found it when our son started college in Poughkeepsie rather than for graduation!」

「Myself and my partner really enjoyed our 4-night stay in the smaller half of Brook Cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it is plenty spacious for two, nicely presented and very well furnished and equipped. There was nothing lacking. The cottage is set back from the road so was nice and quiet. We didn’t use the patio because of the chilly early April weather, but that too was a nice space. Located at the top end of town, it was only a short walk to shops and restaurants....

The space was immaculate and had everything I needed for my three day stay. I came for a weekend workshop at the very nearby Omega Institute. 「My husband and I arrived with our bikes and enthusiasm! We hiked at Mannawaska State Park, and swam in their lovely lake as well. There are bike paths just near their home. Our hosts Anat and Jaime were lovely and attentive to our needs. The comfort of having a great sleep could be had due to the bed which was very comfortable! We had a fabulous time hiking, swimming, biking and relaxing.」

「My daughter & I came up from NYC for a family get-together and the cottage was perfectly located -- & sized -- for us. Loved it! Cozy and warm even though it was single digit cold the whole time. Really appreciated the comfy beds, the fire stove and the holiday decorations. Had hoped to make a fire in the fire ring out back... but it was just TOO COLD. Lots of things to do, restaurants & shops in the area -- next time in better weather!」
