“We did not meet Eric upon checkin, we let ourselves in. Ample parking spaces. Allocated Room 3, which was the assessable room. Our overall stay was good, the location was convenient to get to Cork and Head of Kinsale. Very friendly environment as you get to meet the other guests in the dining/kitchen area. You feel at home as breakfast is provided and you are free to cook as well. We eventually met Eric, and Trish, both are super friendly and helpful. I have to make a comment on Room 3……

“This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle.”

“There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot.”
