It’s a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful view of the lake. The property is located near the railway, so the mountain-view rooms can be a bit noisy during the day, but trains don’t run at night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I would recommend choosing a lake-view room for the best experience.

Friendly host, delicious breakfast and great location. We were able to walk a short distance for the train stop , as well as a ferry stop and have a lovely boat ride.

The Alpina Hotel was an absolute delight. Our stay couldn’t have been better—the rooms were spotless and well-kept, and the views from the windows were nothing short of iconic. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, easily the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. A special mention goes to Monica, whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a meal while taking in breathtaking views of the lake. They have these hand written reviews from the guests framed and hanged on the walls, I loved the idea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—10/10 experience!

Nossa estadia no Alpina foi maravilhosa. Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas foi tudo em ordem. O hotel fica de frente para um lago lindo, a recepcionista fala português e foi super agradável conosco. O café da manhã foi bom e o atendimento da funcionária do café também foi super amigável. Destaques: o quarto estava extremamente cheiroso, e apesar de pequeno era muito confortável. Fomos no verão e estava bem calor, mas no quarto havia um climatizador que ajudou muito. A decoração do hotel no geral também é muito bonita. Nota 10

The location of this hotel is amazing! The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed spending quiet time on the hotel terrace overlooking the lake. Absolutely tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. Our bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our stay here! The view from our room was amazing! The breakfast were delicious. The parking for a car is easy and we were glad to be able to use it to enjoy getting to and from town and making excursions throughout the day.

We had the most wonderful experience at Boutique Hotel Alfina! They made my mom’s birthday so incredibly special. When we arrived, we were surprised with beautiful balloons, a birthday card thoughtfully signed by Tania and Richard, delicious macarons, and chocolates. It was such a heartfelt touch that meant so much to us. The location is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus station. Our room had a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views of the lake. It was truly magical and so relaxing, a perfect place to unwind and soak in the scenery. Breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The quality and variety were impressive, making every morning a treat. Tania, Richard, and all the staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality was unmatched. Tania even took the time to help us figure out the best route for our travels and made sure we got where we needed to go without any trouble. We felt so at home and completely cared for during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area. Simplesmente amamos nos hospedar nesse hotel. Lugar calmo, aconchegante, ótimo café da manhã, com uma vista maravilhosa em frente ao lago Brienz e ótima localização, pertinho de Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, etc. Funcionários do hotel muito prestativos e gentis. Sem contar que os donos são uns amores e muito simpáticos, preocupados em receber e acolher muito bem os hóspedes. Tania é brasileira também e uma querida. Foram dias perfeitos nesse lugar que conquistou nosso coração. Como sugestão de melhoria, apenas diria que o quarto poderia ter um pequeno frigobar, blackout nas janelas e um espelho de tamanho maior.
