The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This was our 3rd time back at The Lakehouse, and it never disappoints. The breakfast provided was wonderful and delicious too

Wonderful house, excellent service, good food (if anything, the portions were too generous). The gardens are the highlight, flower borders, etc - much nicer version of England compared to the original. Development encroaching in the valley, but there isn’t much the hotel can do about that I suppose.

Quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands

This is a quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands. Here you can enjoy high tea in the afternoon or in the evening you can sit before the fireplace and enjoy a drink. Because of the high elevation it is cool in the evenings so that you can sleep with the bedroom window open and enjoy the cool night air. The hotel has a classical feel with all the modern conveniences. The food is excellent in the restaurant. We will definitely come again if we are ever in the highlands again.

Service was extremely good, and since the hotel does not have many rooms and therefore not many guests, the staff were very attentive. Every morning our car was wiped, a small gesture, but nonetheless we felt pampered.

Nice Romantic Getaway

Beautiful and rustic european style property with serene views and tranquility. Nice lounge and restaurant serving delicious food although pricey. The breakfast was awesome. Staff and services were very good. The most surprising and unique service was the complementary daily car wash. Overall speaking, it is a good experience - the staff are friendly, old fashion construction. But, really really complete on the bathroom - bathtub water drains just slow, furthermore, the construction of shower bath room just totally room, it cannot stop the water from shower "flow" out. after shower, the whole bathroom just "flood"
