Welcome to quality time at beautiful Sjusjøen! This spacious log cabin is located at Natrudstilen with a stunning view from the terrace. Here you can enjoy fresh mountain air, quiet evenings by the fireplace, and delicious meals from the gas grill on the outdoor patio. The location is ideal – just a snowball’s throw from Sjusjøen Ski Center, famous for its early snow and ski season lasting from October to May. The cross-country trails Sjusjøen is renowned for start right below the cabin.
The cabin and facilities The cabin is 125 m² and offers a warm and authentic mountain atmosphere, perfect for families or groups of friends. It has four bedrooms with a total of 11 beds, including three family bunk beds and one large master bedroom. The living room features large windows facing the mountains and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy evenings. You’ll also find a full bathroom with private sauna and an additional toilet.

Activities all year round Sjusjøen is known as one of Norway’s best winter sports destinations, with miles of varied and well-prepared cross-country trails right outside the door. The ski center offers alpine slopes for all levels, ski rental and a children’s area – ideal for families and groups of friends. The long winter season ensures reliable snow conditions from October to May.
In summer, the area transforms into a paradise for hiking and cycling. Choose between easy walks around Lake Sjusjøen or summit hikes with views of Jotunheimen and Rondane. For an extra challenge, try the famous 7-summit hike or explore the extensive trail network on Ringsaks- and Øyerfjellet, while the Birkebeiner Trail is perfect for classic long-distance rides. Families can enjoy the pump track, frisbee golf, swimming at Lake Eftastjernet, playgrounds and horseback riding – a great mix of activity and relaxation.
A popular destination is the café at Brannhytta, open daily with freshly baked cinnamon buns and waffles. You can get there on foot, by bike, or by taking the chairlift.
Practical information
Bed linen and towels: Not included. You can bring your own or rent for NOK 250 per set. Please order in advance if you wish to rent.
Cleaning: Included in the final price, but guests must prepare the cabin for cleaning according to instructions.
Easter holidays: Bookings during Easter are possible for these periods: Friday–Wednesday, Wednesday–Monday, or the entire period.
