As all the other reviews have mentioned, the property is located on a hillside with spectacular views. Our room was for 3 people and the only view from the room was through the wooden blinds over a window.

Fantastiskt läge, utmärkt restaurang och fantastiskt trevlig personal/ägare. Självhushåll, men den vidunderliga utsikten från rum och uteplats kompenserar med råge den lilla obekvämligheten. Vill man går det att äta både frukost och middag på restaurangen. Om jag bara skulle kunna övernatta en enda natt på hotell under återstoden av mitt liv skulle det bli här.

Loved this location! The units are a bit dated if that’s something that matters to you but I truly thought it was the cutest place to stay in the Cinque Terre area with an INCREDIBLE view of the ocean. The bus system picks and drops you right off from there as well. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is just an amazing place with amazing people on it. The sight is breathtaking, rooms have a/c and the people attending it are awesome. Best value for money I've had so far in Italy.

Posto con un panorama mozzafiato. La famiglia che gestisce la struttura è molto gentile e disponibile. WiFi pessima. La terrazza sul mare dove cenare e fare colazione è da giù di testa. Le camere sono ok. In aprile essendo appartementini estivi sono freddi. Cibo buono nel ristorante. Vicinissimo a Riomaggiore. Servizio autobus con fermata li di fronte. Nel complesso 8/10

Prestations Satisfaisantes
Prestations globalement correctes dans un environnement magnifique. Le confort du studio Camomilla est correct mais la vue sur mer limitée par une fenêtre de petite taille. D’autres appartements semblent mieux équipés de ce point de vue. Sauf à prendre la voiture il faut se restaurer sur le site et la cuisine du restaurant est plutôt bonne. Un bémol sur les couverts du petit déjeuner (assez complet) : plastique et carton! C’est dommage...

Vous n'avez probablement pas compris qu'il s'agissait d'une restauration d'immeubles vieux de près de 200 ans: rien n'a été changé ni modifié, surtout l'aspect extérieur. Ce ne sont pas ces horribles constructions modernes en verre et en aluminium! Nous sommes dans un parc national et nous voulons que tout soit préservé. Fonctionnel mais sans changer ce qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de changer. Un témoignage du passé pour apprendre quelque chose. Chaque appartement est différent l'un de l'autre: c'est aussi la "biodiversité". Ce n'est pas facile à comprendre. Petit déjeuner: si vous l'aviez demandé, nous vous l'aurions expliqué: ce n'est pas du plastique, mais du maïs, oui, les couverts et les verres sont du maïs et la vaisselle et les autres choses sont faites en récupérant la fibre de la canne à sucre: incroyable! C'est la nouvelle frontière! Faites quelque chose pour un avenir plus durable. Tout ce que vous avez utilisé en moins de 3 mois disparaît, est composté et réutilisé pour la fabrication de l'engrais de culture. Saviez-vous que pour laver les couvertures, disons une vingtaine de personnes prenant leur petit-déjeuner, il faut environ 200 litres d'eau? En plus des détergents, de l’électricité et les et les tasses ou assiettes en céramique ou en verre, ils durent en moyenne au plus 2 ou 3 ans. Nous pensons avoir fait le bon choix et en sommes satisfaits. Nous allons continuer sur la même route.

Amazing!
Yes there are a lot of steps. Yes it’s a little “rustic”. The place is imperfect, BUT....the views and beauty of this hotel makes it a 10. You will not stay in a more beautiful setting-ever! It’s quiet, with lots of quaint little seating areas outside to take it all in. It’s an adventure, but totally worth it!

Echt fantastisch uitzicht uit kamer of tuintje, maar de foto's bedriegen wat. Tuintje of terras is er wel, maar geeft niet uit op de kamers. Airco werkt niet, en niet alle ramen hebben muggengaas, en ja er zitten veel muggen. Ontbijt is echt de prijs niet waard, restaurantkeuken is van degelijke kwaliteit. Locatie is een goede uitvalbasis om cinque terre te verkennen

Chilled atmosphere, nice rooms, decent pricing
Beautiful property, clean rooms, friendly service, be prepared to bring your own kitchen towels and supplies as there is not much there, also no left-over spices etc. from previous guests because you are supposed to leave the kitchen completely clean and neat. The location and surroundings are absolutely wonderful, various hangouts, and chilled atmosphere. It is more a resort than a hotel. The restaurant seemed good but unfortunately closed its kitchen way too early at 9 pm (after opening at 7 pm), which is unexpected on a weekend night in Italy. All in all a great experience and we would definitely come back!

Delivers what it promises and then surprises you.
This family-owned and operated hotel delivers exactly what they promise. We were pleasantly surprised by the large rooms, the renovated bathroom, and the stunning views. The restaurant serves very good food and breakfast, while not included was just right. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sundays. Might be good to know, but most people will eat in one of the villages nearby anyway. The drawbacks? The many steps up and down, a nightmare with heavy suitcases. Luckily, they offer a free service back up, so you don't have to carry them. A little "train", originally designed to haul grapes, does it for you. The grounds include many flowers, herbs, and olive trees. A bit wild and many of the lawn chairs and children's toys are sun-bleached and old, but mostly functional. I loved sitting outside in a patch of garden just for our room and relax, listen to the sound of birds and crickets until late evening. The hotel is situated along the highway, but since the rooms are down below on the slope you can't hear traffic. There's WiFi, but it's really slow and 3/4G connection can be spotty at times and in certain places. It's a vacation. Unplug.

Fint lokalt overnattingssted med nydelig utsikt!
Fint overnattingssted litt utenom det vanlige. Det var tydelig at dette er et sted som blir tatt bare på og det ligger veldig idyllisk til langs ved fjellsiden ned mot middelhavet. Utsikten er helt fantastisk, og det er masse sitteplasser rundt om på eiendommen. Den er fint anlagt med masse nydelige blomster. Rommene har sjel og er innredet i lokal stil. Du finner alt du trenger der for et fint opphold. Det var litt harde senger og litt kaldt, men ellers topp.

Be ready for exercise. All rooms/cabins are many steps down the hillside, but provide welcoming comforts, such as kitchens, private gardens & visiting gattis. Thankfully, there is a small rail service that will carry your luggage back to the top upon departure. Awesome views, great location, if you are visiting Cinque Terre. This facility is rural, but has a resto/bar, a next door bar, and a couple of other places to eat within a few hundred meters.....just check on operating hours, as they can vary. Certainly would stay here again.

This unique cliffside resort has great units that have been updated from a village that supported vineyard workers. We relaxed on the outdoor terraces and outside spaces--each unit has a garden or patio. After hiking, we would have snacks and wine while enjoying the mediterranean views, and relax on the many hammocks and lounge chairs, and also an outdoor shower to cool off and refresh. The rooms were cozy and comfortable with full bath, and ours had a nice kitchenette. In the morning we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts on the outdoor patio dining area. In the evening after a busy day touring Cinque Terre, the outdoor dining room served a delicious variety of dinner entrees and desserts, plus great wine choices. This property is highly recommended! We plan to stay there again next year -- for a week. Roberto

Incredible view of Ligurian Sea
Surprised to see the hundreds of staircases down to the apartment with all the luggage by my hand, then encountered with the spectacular view of Ligurian sea. The weather was perfect at the time during the stay (End of September). You can wine and dine with the beautiful Mediterranean Sea breeze. 10 minutes bus ride to the heart of Riomaggiore, very first village of Cinque Terre from La Spezia side. Great place to relax and start your Cinque Terre tour from bottom to top. (Monterosso Al Mare) It consists of wonderful sea view, beautiful mini gardens and cozy houses. House itself is preserved well through times. Do not expect to be pristine, yet cozy and clean enough for our family. We prepared the meals by ourselves at the house with wine but saw a couple of guests enjoying the meal with view at the hotel restaurant. There is luggage life available for check-out, but still recommend to pack light for this hotel. 친퀘테레의 시작인 리오마조레 마을과 불과 10분 떨어져 있는 곳에 위치한 멋진 숙소 입니다. 절벽에 위치한 여러개 하우스를 모아 하나의 숙소로 만든 곳으로, 호텔 리셉션에서 숙소까지 대략 200개의 계단을 내려가야 하는 곳입니다. 캐리어를 들고 내려가기엔 적합 하지 않으나 경관이 훌륭하고 숙소가 오래 됬지만 아늑해서 관광객들이 많이 찾는 곳 같습니다. (체크아웃시에는 러기지 리프트로 짐을 올려줌) 한국 분들 후기가 많이 없어 용감하게 도전해보았는데 친퀘테레 관광 접근성도 훌륭하고 주변 경관이 너무 훌륭해 만족한 숙박이었습니다.

Great glamping experience with amazing views
If you are visiting cinque terre, i would suggest staying here instead of staying in one of the 5 Terres. Its really close to Riomaggiore and has breathtaking views, amazing amenities and jaw dropping services. Our stay here was very relaxing. The only turn-off was that we didnt get the room we were expecting and the walk was more than 250 steps. So if you’re having any problems with walking or climbing stairs, please reconsider. Otherwise, if you wanna experience nature and experience the beautiful Cinque Terre and Italian Reveira, this is the place to stay !! Best decision ever to choose this hotel for our stay !!!

Deludente appartamente con nessuna manutenzione e poco pulito infissi vecchi e sporchi. l'appartamento ricavato da un sottotetto e le altezze del soffitto a mio parere non hanno rispettato la normativa. Il terrazzo ampio con una visuale mozzafiato pecccato che le ringhiere basse e traballanti.In materia di sicurezza mi sono posta qualche domanda. Ha bisogno di una ristrutturata generale rispettando le normative. Ambiente tranquillo e silenzioso. Lo consiglio solo dopo una giusta manutenzione e messa in sicurezza di alcuni terrazzi. Rapporto qualità prezzo Pessimo.

Vi havde et helt igennem fantastisk ophold på hotellet. Der er den mest fantastiske udsigt fra alle værelser, gange, terrasser og haver. Lejlighederne er pæne og hyggelige og der er en rigtig god og gennemført stil på hele hotellets område. Der er rigtig mange trapper men det er nødvendigt da hotellet er bygget på en bjergside Vi kan kun anbefale stedet hvis I som os er på Vandretur i Cinque Terra er det dejligt at kunne slappe af med en udsigt der er mindst 5 stjerner værd

An excellent property with a beautiful view of the sea from your balcony. But the owner seems not too interested in providing basic services like room cleaning, lunch at restaurant etc, if you are carrying heavy luggage be very careful as you would need to tread downhill carrying them yourselves! While checking out there is an arrangement of loading the luggage on a small pulley which will bring your luggage & leave it on the side of the road. An excellent property but sad that it's not run the way it should have been.

Gorgeous property! Please note that there are many stairs you need to walk up/down to get to the apartments. The view is worth it! We loved staying in Riomaggiore and Il Borgo di Campi. The hotel is located outside of the main town area which is great because you its cozy and quiet. Great place to watch the sunset. The restaurant on the property is delicious! Highly recommend!

This hotel has a spectacular setting high up on the hill overlooking the sea, a couple of miles from Riomaggiore. The rooms consist of self-catering apartments that are spacious and well equipped. There is an excellent on-site restaurant and also an adjacent snack bar that seems to be quite separate from the hotel that also serves excellent pasta and seafood dishes. There are some downsides. Be prepared for a lot of climbing up and down stairs though there is a baggage train so you don't have to haul your heavy bags up (only down). There are also some idiosyncrasies such as the checkin office only being open for a few hours each day. If you're arriving without a car, be prepared to adapt your schedule to the very irregular bus service or else spend a lot of money on taxis. If we had fully understood the geography of the Cinque Terre we would have stayed near one of the railway stations since there is a frequent and well used train service that connects the five villages and neighboring towns such as La Spezia. However if we had done that, we would have missed out on some very enjoyable evenings observing the scenery.
