「Petite maison au calme, très confortable et d’une extrême propreté. Le jardin est charmant. Très jolie région, côté mer et côté terre. L’accueil de Brigitte et Jean-Luc est vraiment à souligner, ils sont extrêmement sympathiques tout en restant discrets. Séjour vraiment très agréable. Je reviendrai explorer ce qui ne l’a pas été pour cause de grasses matinées! Patricia 」

「Wonderful stay at La Sauvagette! We loved staying at this comfortable gîte in the gorgeous village of Mortagne-sur-Gironde. Vikki and Andrew were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed, clean and well stocked with everything needed for self catering holiday including charcoal BBQ.The garden was lovely with great views across the vineyards. Pool was clean and warm and enjoyed by us all. Plenty of sun loungers and seats. Garden box had inflatables, brollies...

「Wir hatten einen herrlichen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Landhãuschen mit unseren beiden fast erwachsenen Kindern (16 und 18 Jahre). Das Haus verfügt über eine kleine Küche im Erdgeschoss, zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem neuen, sehr modernen Bad, wie man es sich besser ausgestattet nicht vorstellen kann, und einen Aufenthaltsraum. Jedes Zimmer ist mit wohl ausgesuchten, entzückenden Antiquitäten ausgestattet!Besonders genossen haben wir den 12 Meter langen...

「Une semaine parfaite au calme! La maison super propre super jolie et bien équipé rien à redire. Le temps était au beau fixe nous avons pu profiter de la piscine chauffée et du jardin au top! 」

Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!」

「Très bon logement agréable en pleines vignes et hôte très sympathique 」

「We primarily visited the area to cycle and to enjoy the wildlife - neither disappointed.We cycled just over 600 miles on extremely quiet roads and paths through varied landscapes.After a days cycling the swimming pool was a real plus.The owners Howard and Liz are on hand with a wealth of local knowledge and treated us with views of wild boar from the patio. The bike was garaged and nothing was too much trouble.We will return.」

「Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. L'hebergement est simple avec les equipements suffisants. Nous le recommandons :)」

「Family friendly gite, great as a bolt hole. Fun added extras inside for the kids. Outside area is great, pool area wonderful. Upstairs bathroom and some utensils may need updating at some point but overall all was good and we had everything we needed. Be aware the third bedroom is accessed by a steep ladder and not suitable for younger children, fine for my 10&12 year old with the help of a stair gate guard we attached.Friendly and helpful hosts. Only 10 mins from a variety of places to visit...

「This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. The host was very approachable and easily contactable」
