"From when we arrived to when we left, we enjoyed this small apartment on the farm. We could not say enough positive things about this little apartment. We did not want to leave. I told Beth, the owner, that we could live here if we were ready to downsize. If you want an amazing stay near everything you want to see in the area, this is the place. So nice and cozy. "We traveled to the area to visit some gardens in the area. It was a convenient location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing we might complain about was the construction noise on the street right outside, but we realize the host has no control over that and it is temporary. Loved the town and enjoyed walking in the local park nearby. Would definitely stay here again."

"This location was a great spot for a quiet weekend with an old friend and little boys. We had plenty of space and the boys slept late after doing laps on the stairs to chase paper airplanes. The boys enjoyed saying hello to the goats and cows on the property. The house was close to the Strausburg Railroad and the Train Museum, both good day trips."

"Wonderfully kind hosts, perfect property with amazing animals. Dogs, horses, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, goats, and one very beautiful turkey named Franklin. Our favorite part about this property was how stunning it was and being surrounded by animals. This was a great find and it surpassed our expectations. Loved Gemma their Great Pyrenees/new foundland dog so kind and gentle. We enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend staying here."

"Swallow's Rest West was just delightful, and the perfect base for our visit to Longwood Gardens. It was so creatively decorated, had all the amenities needed, and was clean and comfortable. Our host Henry was wonderful. Only thing I would have changed was having an operating window on the upper floor, to let in some fresh, cool air at night. But this was just a minor issue. I would still highly recommend this property."

"Our stay in Bear was very nice. The apartment was well stocked and very clean. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and my wife enjoyed jogging in the morning. Plenty of access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies/convenience stores. Uber trips to UD were also convenient and it was a 15-20 ride to campus. We would stay here again."

"Great location near White Clay Creek park. Pictures of the deck and grill were deceiving since they are not easily accessible from rental unit (walk on steep sloped lawn with no walkway, climb stairs and located right outside of owners living room). Smoke from upstairs drifted into downstairs rental unit. I closed all the ceiling vents and it helped. My fault for not checking that there was no dishwasher. Be aware of excess fees in total price."
