"Breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. I like that there are no scents in the rooms such as bounce fabric softener etc. The only complaint is the loud roar of the heating system in the room. We actually had to turn it off anf go without heat. "

"We loved staying at the Captain’s House! Location is fantastic, house was very comfortable and it was only a short drive to Lunenburg. The Bluenose sailed by and the sunrises were spectacular!!! "

"Stayed two nights. Lovely hosts. The only point of improvement we had was that tap water was not drinkable, so there was a large bottle on the counter instead. Understood that the area is in a deep drought in fall 2025. Outdoor shower was a treat. Property very interesting if you are a horticulture buff, quite the history on this site!"
