“It's a large, clean room. The location is in ideal country setting, close to all the Hickory area has to offer. The host were attentive and responsive to any of our concerns. The only advice I would offer is have a couple of comfortable chairs and perhaps a microwave. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.”

“Everything was as expected—nice, clean, updated. We only stayed one night but would have gladly stayed a week. The pack and play was great to have. Plenty of towels and such a nice touch with the bottles of water and snacks. The house was nicely decorated with reliable appliances. Comfortable beds and nice shower. No complaints:)”

“Simply charming house. Very clean. The owners provided all the starter items as well as snacks and bottled water. Notified owner we would be arriving late at night and they left lights on in the house for us which was much appreciated. There is a lot of road noise so if this might be an issue for your group you might think about bringing earplugs. Overall it’s a charming house.”

“I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was more house than I needed traveling alone, but it was also perfect not having to stay in a hotel. The amenities and personal touches were amazing- a few laundry pods, coffee k cups, hot cocoa, the shower gel and s/c. I really felt safe and comfortable in this home. I loved the front porch area where I had my coffee in the morning, listening to the birds. At night, it is dark, quiet, peaceful. You can hear the traffic from the major road in front of the……

“We would stay at the property again. Here are suggestions that would make our stay even better: The water filter in the fridge needs to be replaced. There need to be hand towels in the bathrooms. A microwave should be part of the kitchen appliances. The pillows in the master bedroom were too hard and made my next stiff. An extra pillow and an extra quilt would have been appreciated. There need to be more wash cloths. We had two wash clothes for five people. Availability of firewood for the fire……
