Many of the poor reviews are very similar to our experience. We booked this room 2 months in advance of a trip from Michigan to Virginia to see our granddaughter’s high school graduation. We traveled home from New York through Canada (5+ hour drive) to arrive at the hotel. While checking in, we were advised that the on-site……

“Room 116: The Door stuck. It had to be kicked at the bottom to open it. The sink would not drain. We were then given Room 117. Room 117: The bed was a queen size rather than a king that we originally requested in Room 116. The room did not have a chair at the desk. Only one large shower towel was in the compartment. No waste baskets for the trash. No complimentary breakfast or coffee was available. Just an unpleasant overnight stay.”

“Not too much to say. It was the weekend and several families staying and playing in the pool. That was fine, they're children but I was put very near the pool. Not an early night. It was okay.”

“This was truly the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The price was fine for a one night two bedroom room, but there were MANY issues with it. The beds appeared to have been stained with dirt and bodily fluids. The bathroom floor was rooted and the door for it had splinted and wouldn’t fully close. The parking space outside was littered with cigarette butts and the room smelled filthy and like it had previously housed chain smokers. The ceilings and walls were disgusting and coated in smoking……

“I didn’t even stay for my visit. I walked right in the door after checking in and then I left shortly after. The most I did was take a shower in the room but left due seeing to cockroaches upon arrival.”

“Parking was easy, there is plenty of room and ample spaces. Staff was friendly and professional. Room temperature was adjustable and comfortable. The room was not well cleaned. The comforter had stains. There were bugs on the floor near the base of the bed. There were coffee stains on the floor. There was a used shower face towel hanging in the shower. The toilet bowl and bottom of seat was dirty. There was an opened and used bar soap at the sink. My wife was not happy and I think I could have……
