「Magnifique endroit niché dans un écrin de verdure et surplombant la mer Méditerranée. Le côté rustique et l'isolement relatif peuvent ne pas convenir à tout le monde mais il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer de très bonnes vacances. Eh oui la région est escarpée et donc à un moment ou à un autre ça grimpe, mais les panoramas époustouflants à la clé méritent bien quelques efforts. Finalement le seul défaut de cette location de vacances aura été de devoir partir.」

「We had a lovely stay in this huge and beautiful house. The views are stunning and it’s very peaceful. I would not recommend it for small children as all the floors and surfaces are marble or stone. Also it’s quite remote so would be much easier with a car, we struggled to find taxis and it’s not easy to locate the property from the road. The walk downhill to Menton takes around 30-40 mins on narrow roads」

「Quelle chance de trouver un lieu pareil à Menton! Tout dans cette endroit respire l'ambiance de la campagne provençale. La maison située à flanc de colline est très calme . Le paysage depuis la terrasse est magnifique. Aucun vis à vis, peu de circulation , les soirées sont absolument tranquilles . La maison bien que très ancienne est bien équipée . Aucun bruit pour dormir à part celui des oiseaux le matin !Je recommande cet endroit pour se reposer et profiter de cette situation belle région...

「Très beau logement ! propreté et raffinement… tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien. Ici, on respecte les locataires, et ça se sent ! Seul hic pour les plus âgés, les escaliers… RDC 3 étages pour arriver, certes dans un superbe salon et une jolie terrasse avec une vue saisissante de beauté mais, c'est très sportif ! Personnes âgées ou fragiles des genoux, s'abstenir ! A noter que quasiment toutes les maisons du village sont "à escaliers" ! étroites et hautes… A part ça, environnement...

The pictures do not reflect properly how big the house is. The living area is open-plan and huge, the bedrooms are separate, so you can enjoy most of the house even if the children are asleep. 「The host never responded once to any of my requests to get apartment number, check in procedure, etc., up to and including the day when we were supposed to check in. As a result we were left with nowhere to stay and were forced to quickly find a hotel on short notice at a much higher price. Strongly recommend this listing be removed from VRBO site so other guests do not face the same nightmare」

Une mention spéciale pour la terrasse/jardin: nous avons beaucoup aimé y prendre l’apéro et les repas, parmi les citronniers, cactus, plants de tomates etc, en nous distrayant avec les deux tortues habitantes du lieu. 「The communication for the property was terrible. They made me pay a large security deposit and I still haven't received it back. There was not even hand soap in the bathroom. I had to stay on the pull out sofa because the ladder to the bedroom is extremely small, rickety, and slippery and the bathroom is downstairs. The place is decorated cute but I wouldn't stay here again. 」
