This hotel is a hidden gem! The lady at the front desk was a jewel! I called her 3x before we even arrived to ask her questions about early checkin and leaving our bags with her before we could checkin. She was so pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious with the most awesome view of the water. We even had a little kitchen as part of the room. It was very clean, had a great ac unit, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great location, close to 3 restaurants and with a 15 min walk to the ferry. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Most of the other reviews really say it. Its not a 5 star resort and you should not expect that. We had the room with the private pool and it was out of service and drained. This is a historical site which is a lot of fun, originally built by the Dutch sometime before the English took it over in 1666.

Rather disappointing. It looks like this was a lovely place once. Needs maintenance everywhere. Our room was large and had a nice view. The negatives though were the constant loud vehicles passing by, the sliders don't really work, we had no water (which eventually got fixed), and TV didn't work (no one knew how to fix it). I would not stay here again.
