“A perfect lake retreat for a larger group. Excellent location on Smith Mountain Lake, including dock, paddle boards, heated pool & hot tub. The beds are the most comfortable sleeping mattresses I have ever slept on while traveling. The home is beautiful and the views amazing. Close to shopping, wineries and restaurants. Definitely is a true vacation.”

“We rented this property for an extended family getaway. It was a great spot and beautiful home. This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. Although we couldn't partake in the pool or firepit because of the weather (too cool and windy), it was ready for us if we had the opportunity. Stores were about a 10 minute drive and easy to locate. My suggestions for an update to the home would be a few extra balnkets and to pave the……

“Very lovely house and super clean. There was no firewood as indicated in the advertisement, but we collected fallen branches and that worked. Hot tub was wonderful and overall great property! Would recommend.”

“We had the best time! This home was just what we were looking for. We just wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was amazingly stocked. Huge Great Room on entry level, plus D/R, Eat-in Kitchen, Office, Laundry Rm, and Primary Suite. 3 more B/R's up. Downstairs had a 2nd Kitchen, and a huge TV, perfect for the guys. 3 more B/R's. Altogether 6.5 Baths. We just loved this home. Hoping to go back in the near future. Maybe in the warmer weather. Highly recommend!”

“The way the owners have the property setup is fantastic. Big TVs, grill, fire ring, bar on dock with TV, etc. Whether you want to lounge in the shade, go out on the lake, or watch the big game it’s setup great. Quality bumpers and cleats on dock to protect your boat. Nice house. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. We’ve been coming to SML for 20 years and this is the best house we have stayed in.”

“We had a wonderful time relaxing at this well maintained and designed lake house retreat! From nights by the fire pit, kayaking in the winter crisp air, to cozy nights playing games with the family or simply watching a movie on one of the many TVs. This place has it all. The kitchen is fully stocked, with all that need. The hosts are gracious and kind, and made sure we were well taken care of. We recommend this cute gem to anyone looking for a perfect getaway at the lake!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The boys enjoyed learning about bass fishing from Billy Kohls. Great hikes nearby. Hot tub was fantastic after the cold days. Wonderful fenced in backyard for our pups. Lots of games for rainy day, just wish there would have been pool stick chalk so my husband could’ve taught my son pool table shots. Excellent location! We would stay here again”

“This home was wonderfully equipped, as a matter of fact they had nice bonuses such as soap, TP, shampoo available so you didn't need anything right away. The only drawback is if you have an issue with stairs. It is 90 stairs to the water. Very safe stairs so I used it as exercise but if you struggle with using stairs this may not be your place. The view is amazing and the home is very confortable”

“This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.”

“The house was located in a beautiful location. I really appreciated that it had 3 rooms with king sized beds and the fourth bedroom had a double with a twin above it as well as a twin bunk bed. There were 3 bathrooms, two of which were master bedroom bathrooms. The third bathroom had a shower and was located near the kitchen upstairs. The hot tub was a big hit for the family. The deck on the back provided a great view of the lake and plenty of space for guests to congregate.”

Everyone of our guests and my immediate family was charmed by the hardwood floors.The attention to detail and all of the amenities included with the house. We were meeting for a hard time for our family.We were bringing home my dad who died a few weeks ago. We had family coming from all across the united states and we needed a place that we could cut and meet and gather and talk and mostly there are thoughts……

“Downtown is just a few blocks away. The apartment was clean, spacious and mostly quiet. The parking was very conveniently located just back of the property by the entrance to the condo.”
