The stay was okay overall, but there were several issues that affected the experience. The barbeque was completely unusable, which was disappointing as we had planned to use it. The dishwasher didn’t clean properly, leaving dishes dirty, and there was noticeable dust on the surfaces, which made the place feel less clean than expected.

Spacious but filthy and poorly provisioned

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very dirty, didn't appear to have been cleaned. Black scum in sink wastes, stained bedding, dead bugs and flies all over the floors, accumulated piles of bugs, cobwebs etc beside tables etc. The bbq is so old and rusty that it didn't look safe to use let alone eat off. Kitchen was very poorly provisioned. Not enough bowls so all of us could eat breakfast at same time (affect fixed this promptly). Not even sieve so could make rice. Absolute bare minimum kitchen items making it difficult to cook anything. Everything in the house is old cheap and broken. No air con or heating other than in living area - none in bedrooms so very hot on even slightly warm night. Only 2 fans between 4 bedrooms and only 1 of these (a desk fan not even pedestal) worked. Pillows and beds cheap and uncomfortable. Bunks so low even my youngest child can't even sit even slouched over on the bottom bunk. No WiFi. Good things- pretty spacious, big bedrooms. Spacious lounge. Big TV. Two big couches. Several (old falling apart) armchairs which have been covered by cheap poorly fitting covers to conceal the fact that they're falling apart, but the covers just slide off when you try to sit on them. Lots of windows in main living area to let light or airflow in.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is poorly maintained, and overall cleanliness was poor. There is one small air conditioner in the main living area however it wasn’t able to cool any of the bedrooms. The property can become very hot in summer. The mattresses on all beds were the worst we’ve ever encountered, very thin and cheap. There is a substantial ant problem so if you’re willing to stay here, don’t leave food out in the kitchen.
