The location is perfect right on the lake and the pool, tiki bar, hotel bar, free coffee were all so accomadating. Also the large canopy was excellent for hanging with larger groups and there was live music. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

I am handicapped and was very happy with my accessible room! Plus, the building itself was easy for us to get around in with me in a wheelchair or with a cane. Our room was very clean and beautifully designed. The accessible shower worked out great with the pull down seat and shower hose. We really enjoyed the walking paths by the beautiful lake, with the flowers and wildlife as well. We never had a problem getting a convenient handicap parking place. There are several available, which I've never seen anywhere else. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next excursion to Canandaigua Lake.

The room we had you could hear a constant oscillating high pitched sound. Very annoying. It was some piece of equipment in the hotel. The restaurant food was very good. However, the timing from the kitchen was terrible. Our salads and entrees can out at the same time, appetizer came out when I was finishing my entree. There were only about 5-6 tables with people so they were not busy.

Room was kept very clean and done promptly. Staff was very courteous. Parking plentiful. Beautiful lake. One problem was the very loud band on Wednesday night. Because of rain, I assume, they played inside in the bar area. So so so loud enough so that we opted to eat at Nolans rather than be in the hotel restaurant. No one in the bar or dining room could hear. I love rock music but not at that decimal when I am sharing a drink and conversation but more importantly dinner. If you must play inside, adjust the amps. Would have liked to have dinner on the premises.

I loved the hotel and the property - so beautiful and layout was attractive and very inviting; loved the night of music under the canopy, fire pit by the lake, etc. Enjoyed being at the public lake and on the paths. Our only downside was the check in that took over an hour - had nothing to do with the hotel or staff - since that was all great! EXPEDIA messed up our reservation even though I had confirmation etc......and hotel did not have our room reserved. It was a nightmare because of Expedia. It really put our start to our much awaited stay in a bad way especially since I had my husband who was not medically well with me waiting.

The hotel is quite new & the lakefront property is beautiful. Room was very clean & quiet. Bed was super comfy. The Cove had delicious food, especially the meatball appetizer. Only complaint was they needed more help. We went back for dessert and the bartender ended up waiting on us. He was very sweet. Otherwise we would’ve waited forever. Then the next morning, when attempting to go in for breakfast, we were ignored for a long time while trying to check in. We ended up going elsewhere.

Disliked: Staff & service
I was really looking forward to a couple of days away with my husband and booked this hotel because of the pool and proximity to the lake. Upon arrival we were told our room was not ready even though it was the check in time stated. We ended up waiting almost an extra hour before we were finally able to get to our room. While waiting we went to the bar and unfortunately the service was not good. It took quite a few mins for them to even acknowledge us and when we finally were waited on the bartender was very unfriendly. Once we were finally in our room we found it clean enough but it had a horrible damp mildew like odor that never went away. I chose not to say anything due to how long it took to just get a room and we had dinner reservations. Overall I was pretty disappointed, especially as it was one of the pricier hotels. I’m not sure if I would return based on this experience. The hotel itself looks lovely and the property is very nice but the service and smell wasn’t worth it.

This is a fairly new property and it is very clean and well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful, being right in the lake, and although it was too cold to use the pool, it looked very nice. Our room was a king with a balcony, and it was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower super nice! Definitely not your normal hotel bathroom. Tapestry properties are a step up from regular Hilton hotels and we’ve found the two we’ve stayed at very, very nice. Highly recommend!

Clean room, great view and friendly, helpful staff. I would easily stay here again if the situation arises!
