Decent property for our needs
Access and check-in/out information from the owner wasn't very timely. Received 24 hours before check-in and after we checked-out. It would have been nice to know what they wanted us to do to clean.
The house has beautiful upgrades for the age of the home. But there are lots of little things that added up. The kitchen was not as well stocked as I would have liked. No kitchen towels, no large bowls for salad or watermelon, no veggie peeler, ice maker doesn't work - have to buy ice. If you want to know about coffee - they have a Keurig. For a short stay - probably not a big deal - but we were there for a week.
As mentioned in earlier reviews don't plan on showering upstairs - it's unusable.
The kids saw lots of spiders and ants around the house and hated that.
The back deck and yard is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your coffee. We saw deer, groundhogs, and bunnies.
The location is 15 min. away from everything. Pretty great for what we needed. It's on a main road, but that didn't bother us. You can hear the nearby train everyday, but it isn't disruptive.
We wished there were fans and ended up buying three for all of the rooms (took them with us), but that would be a nice addition.
The living room has one couch and two chairs - all three a little uncomfortable for a family of 4 to sit and enjoy tv together. The TV is a smart TV - sign in to your accounts to stream. Wi-fi was good.
Laundry was in the basement and was also pretty good.
