Safe hotel and easy access right off the highway. The room was missing the iron but we didn't need it. My wife went to use the hair dryer and it wouldn't work. The bed sagged in the middle but the TV worked, the room was clean and bug-free. Minimal amenities which probably keeps their rates cheaper then other hotels.

It's a cheap motel. The desk lady was nice, the AC worked, there was hot water, the bed was clean and soft. The shower curtain rod was sagging a little and none of the walls/tile etc looked like they'd been maintained recently, but we weren't expecting luxury! The only big complaint we had was that there were seemingly ALWAYS emergency vehicles outside the hotel, which didn't make us feel safe and flashed a lot of lights into our room. The location is really good for getting to things around Rochester.

I went through a beautiful, clean lobby and ascended the stairs that made me feel like a Disney princess. I wandered down the hallway feeling like I transported from Disney to the Shining. Traveling down a hallway with dogs barking, broken doors, marijuana stench, and automatic fresheners spritzing, trying in vain to cover the stench of smoke and mold. The room with a 1970s shower looked like it was in the middle of a needed renovation but would settle for a cleaning. Came equipped with 2 towels for 3 people. One was stained with an unknown substance. The front desk told me the hotel had no towels. It took over an hour, a manager, and multiple visits from me in order to get a clean towel. After I was able to run up the stairs feeling like Cinderella trying to get to my room before midnight. At least the flooring looked new. However, looks can be deceiving as I stepped onto the fun house floor that bounced with every step; trapping my sock between them like some Saw trap having to carefully navigate between slats, and I love the security of a peephole painted over so we couldn’t see out. Two lamps didn’t work- we won this escape room challenge by realizing that one was unplugged and the other had no bulb- we moved the bulb and voila fixed one. As for decor, cigarette holes in the blanket, dirty floors, stained sheets, all offset by dollar store bin with a baggie of shower supplies and a plastic fake plant. Overall, I survived and the shower did have good water pressure.

The room was cold had to have the heat on all night as it would not set to shut off. The shower curtain had a burn hole in it. None of the outside entrance doors were secured doors. The check in girls was very nice. They had soap and toothpaste toothbrush in the room which was nice. You had to make sure the room door shut, the tv had a line through it and the remote was not connected to the tv to change the volume

This is my first time being in Rochester, I'm here for my travel assignment, I was pleased when just stepped in the Airport I called Motel6 and they answered me and sent someone to pick me up. I like my stay and I would love staying for the length of my assignment until October, except when I have and urgent emergency to go back in Florida for a few days like an interruption in betweeng or 5 days, so since I bought a protection plan for my stay and spoke with Expedia who spoke with the property manager of Motel6 about my urgency and Expedia told me as Motel6 said at the very beginning that if something happens I will have my unused night reimbursed, So I asked a staff on my checked out day about it ,she gave me a card to call/ contact with no Answer(call neither email)and to reverse the cup they just reimbursed me the security deposit. And until now 9 days after no answer 🙂. I'm not judging other than the fact they can be honest tell NO REFUNDS, Because as a travel nurse I met too much people to know that is WRONG TO JUGDE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" but in business trust is a MUST. Please don't hope on them ,just be aware that if something happens it will be your OWN LOST.
