“This place was like an arboretum in the city. We had coffee with koi! The art and decor and craftsmanship was superb; we kept finding new fun things that we hadn’t seen. The hosts were very nice and pleasant to talk to. It was clear that a lot of love and care went into this space. We are looking for a reason to go to Springfield again just to go back. :)”

“The house worked out perfectly for our family weekend away. It was within 10 minutes of everything that we did while in Springfield. Each bedroom has a bed and then there is a blow up mattress (which the kids loved). We would stay again.”

“Beautiful historical property with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely place! My brother and I stayed just one night after a local family wedding. The bedrooms were both spacious and bedding comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee in the living room. There is also a full dining room available. Hosts communicated mostly via text and were very friendly and personable. ”

“Location is great, close to everything we wanted to do. House was clean and as described. Bathrooms are like a jack in jill style, one toilet off common area and other off master bed room which lead to a shared tub/shower. We really liked this with details noting only one full bath. Use of the garage was nice also. Neighbor was very quiet. We also tripped on the rug under the dining room table many times. Thank you, we had a great stay”

“This house is close to downtown Springfield, has nice rooms, and the kitchen, dining, and living spaces were open (allowed for conversations between rooms while preparing meals). Overall, a solid rental for my needs!”

“Pros: Beds were comfortable with bedside tables and access to outlets, carpeting looked new. Great location to local attractions and restaurants. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Driveway fits two cars, with street parking available for more. Owner very responsive to questions. Cons: Needs better attention to cleaning (windowsills were very dirty throughout, air exchange vents were either super dirty or rusted); Could use a table and/or luggage racks in bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom had a walk-in……

“I had to travel to Springfield for a horse competition so we turned it into a weekend girls trip and enjoyed walking to the little bars and restaurants around the area. Great place would stay there again.”
