“A beautiful property, tastefully decorated, clean and everything you need for a getaway. Had a "girls" retreat! A little shopping across the river in LeClaire. Some eating out. Lots of snacking. Well equiped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Wonderful!”

“We were here for one night and enjoyed the property. Property was as described. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have a Keurig with a few k-cups to get the day started. Communication with manager was spot on.”

“There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!”

“This property went beyond my expectations. We had family from CA, TX, ND, and FL all meet up in IA for a family Celebration of Life. 9 adults total, and with three separate gathering areas, plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was very adequate for our cooking/baking needs. Although we had no small children, we did notice the nice-sized room with plenty of baby items. A small issue when my mother (83 years old) was the first to arrive at the property, she didn't fully understand how to……

“We stayed for an extended time with work and the house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for 4 adult. Jason was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. Accessing the house was a breeze and the extra upgrades in the upstairs bathroom were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”

We loved our time here. The house always smells so good. The host is great to work with and always very responsive when needed. It is close to every place we had to go in Davenport. “I wanted a view. What I got was nesting eagles in the tree out my window, a nightly roaring fire with ample wood supply, super responsive host, welcome wine and snacks, comfortable beds and high end baths, white linens and privacy. If you don’t mind steps to enter the home, and some personal touches throughout (books, candles, travel trinkets, mugs, condiments, kid fun) you will enjoy your stay very much! Want a pristine hotel, choose a hotel. Want eagles, geese and pelicans + a private stay……

“We were in town with family and had a wonderful stay. Being right on the river watching the eagles was worth double the price. All details were thought of and executed nicely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house was super clean. Jason was the best host we have had, very accommodating and communicative. “What a wonderful property! If you love to fish, this is the place for you. We caught tons of fish during our stay. Nice bluegills, enormous bass and even a catfish. The sights and sounds of nature were amazing. The cabin was homey and large enough for my family of five. The shuffleboard table and poker table were our entertainment after the long day of fishing. Just an all around pleasant experience!”

“It was a nice four room upstairs apartment. It was nice and relaxing. I didn't end up using the TV or the video games included in the stay but it was a nice addition. The toilet tank stopped filling up for some reason and I had to refill it with water from the sink. Other then that a great place to stay for one or two days.”
