“We stayed here for two nights. Our room was ready to occupy late, and we waited an hour after check in to receive our keys. That was disappointing. Then when we got to our room, it felt like the AC hadn’t been run in days. It was hot and took hours to cool off. We had to open doors in July to get the room to cool down. After those mishaps, though, we began to fully enjoy our stay. I would doubt those issues are repeated for others. So, I enthusiastically recommend this resort. If all goes well,……

“Our host, Brandon, was friendly and helpful. He noted that because we booked through Expedia, he did not receive our personal information in order to contact us, so he was glad to have caught us upon arrival. The Indian Paintbrush room was lovely. Beds were comfy, hot tub was relaxing, small bathroom but large shower area. The breakfast was yummy! The B&B is steps away from the main drag of Old Colorado City, so there is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend……

“Outside looks like it will be a bit run down inside but I was pleasantly surprised. Check in & out was easy, he gave us snacks for our stay. The room was clean and cozy. Nicely decorated and smelled clean. Quiet and peaceful sleep. We were very comfortable.”

“The cleaning staff needs to clean the windows and around the windows. The countertops weren’t cleaned right and the coaches could use some TLC. The TV didnt work, I couldn’t get anyone to communicate with me about it until the next day.”

“Very nice but a little too small for two adults and two teens , the location is a big plus. It is located right next to a restaurant and a lot of other cool places. The lady who helped us was super nice and very attentive. Overall we enjoyed staying there. Is a great place for families with small children”

“We found an old beer can, and food in a drawer when we arrived. None of the TV’s worked until the last day. Staff was great and helpful! Helped with the washer and dryer and gave us quarters back was super nice!”

“Not many frills but great location and surprisingly quiet. Clean, fridge and air conditioning worked, and you could walk to two good dinner restaurants and Mo’s great breakfast diner. Shuttle to the more touristy area and cog railway is right down the block at daze inn. Recommend !”
