The Yankee Clipper Inn is a throwback to the past in the best sense. The grounds and the Inn itself were so very peaceful and just invited you to slow down, enjoy the beautiful view and the atmosphere. The staff was warm and inviting and seemed to really enjoy being there. The breakfasts were fun and delicious and set the tone for the rest of day in quiet and elegant fashion. We will certainly stay there again if in that area and will be telling our family about it so that hopefully they too can someday enjoy it.

Made to order breakfast was very nice . And wait staff was very helpful and pleasant. I wish we knew ahead of time about the spiral narrow staircase to our room as seniors 😦, also a two step up and down to get into bathroom was risky.

The Yankee Clipper Inn was an excellent choice in every way. The grounds, rooms and restaurant were perfect in every way. Due to health concerns I called ahead asking to be moved to the first floor. No rooms were available, I was not able to change my reservation. However when I arrived they had moved rooms around to accommodate for my health issues. I was unable to walk to enjoy the gazebo and waterfront but it was lovely from the restaurant porch seating area. I can’t say enough about the staff and their hospitality.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable also the view was fantastic from our room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with several choices and a different special everyday. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice getaway, a great location in proximity to Rockport and area attractions we visited Hammond Castle, Rockport Village, Castle Hill, and Halibut Point State Park. Breakfast was delicious and staff great, our room and view were excellent. Only two negatives , the pool was under construction, and because it was a weekday the bar/lounge was closed. But overall an awesome stay and would definitely would stay again.

It is a wonderful place to stay! The views from the picture window in the bedroom is absolutely breathtaking. The staff is the best! They all are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices every day. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

Breakfast was wonderful. Christina is a great chef. The view was spectacular! We loved sitting relaxing in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean. The Bar staff was friendly and welcoming. They also made a great cocktail! My only critique gives the bar was only open till 8 PM so we could not have a nightcap. The property is old New England as to be expected. The area is beautiful and safe. The beds were comfortable and the shower amazing, great water pressure.
