“We needed a place close to Kensington as we were cleaning out my brother's place. It was 8 minutes away! It was the comfort and space we needed to decompress after long days of sorting, packing, and moving. The beds were comfy, the appliances were new and in working order, and the furniture was comfy. Plenty of space for everyone to eat, sleep and hang around together.”

The host provided clean and comfortable bedding, towels, and toiletries. The location was perfect and convenient to all major highways, with plenty of parking. ”

“The location was perfect for us. The rooms on the third floor were quiet and private very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Martin, the host, was courteous and genuinely helpful. Adding another reading light so there is one for each side of the bed would be an improvement for the room. ”

“Beautiful little house! The decor was interesting and colorful. The beds were very comfortable and there was room in the living area for everyone to sit comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed. Parking was easy and it was a quick little walk to the metro. Very nice!”

“This home could not have been any better! Spent a long weekend with 6 others visiting DC & Alexandria. We used all the bedrooms so can attest to the comfort of the beds. Nice quality linens and plentiful towels. Rooms were large enough for seating and conversation groups. The highlight for this group was gathering in the private courtyard for coffee and breakfast. Home was very clean with nice amenities. Location is prime - just a few minutes (less than 2 blocks) to King Street and……

“We had the apartment all to ourselves, and it was clean and stocked with food and treats. It was located in a nice, safe, quiet, interesting neighborhood where we enjoyed taking walks. The hosts made themselves available when needed, but also left us alone to enjoy our stay.”
