We totally enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! Such a respite from the heat that we experience in North Texas.”

“We loved being hidden in the trees. The cabin is cute and cozy but reevaluate we spent a good amount of time just in the trees. It’s at the top of the neighborhood If you walk further up the mountain you just get deeper into the trees. Hosts were responsive and gave good advice, we had a 4 cylinder car so we probably would have gotten stuck if a storm had hit so that might be something to keep in mind in the winter. And it’s about 30 min to get to downtown Durango but it’s a beautiful drive and……

“A little gem very close to Purgatory Mtn. Perfect for our college reunion. True log cabin felt like home. New hot tub was a plus after long days of skiing. Only knock, the coffee pot could use upgrading (add a Keurig) and some new pots and pans would be helpful. Would definitely return.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and clean and had all the amenities that were promised. We brought all our own food and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The cabin and rooms were very spacious. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, very quiet setting. Although there are several neighbors quite close, we never heard anything from any of them. The view of the lake from the cabin is spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck having coffee in the mornings. Everything……

“My only minor issue was I wish the temp control was a little easier to use/understand. It got a little warm at times, but we just cracked a window. Would highly recommend this place.”

“Loved the location of this place. Close to the creek (it was running too fast to fish). Very peaceful and relaxing setting. One drawback wa that there was no interior dining table. We made do, but would have love to sit around the table to eat and play games. Hosts were very quick to respond to all questions we had. Thanks for a wonderful stay.”
