“Good place to refresh after eclipse ”

“It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town.”

“Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. Our stay was to kayak, parked a truck at the cabin landing and had no problems. Would deffinatley recommend, plenty of room and totally enjoyed or……

“This house was a cozy, comfortable place to stay. Although it sits on a road that's busier than what I'm use to, I slept better than I had in a long time. I have nothing but good things to say about it.”

“Brief three-night visit while kayaking. We are sensitive to must, molds, and masking fragrances; but no issues here at all. Very clean. Wonderful choice of memory foam mattresses. Lodging is simple one room with two beds, small closet, private bathroom, mini-fridge, and microwave; no kitchenette or table. The room's exterior front steps, second story deck and small entry hall are shared with a similar room on the opposite side of the hall. Short one-block walk south to three restaurants or north……

“All of the beds had clumps of dirt, sand, and what looked like dog hair in the sheets. The dishes were filthy and thrown in the cabinet. The trash cans had garbage in them. We ran out of dish soap. There were no extra trash bags in the premises. Directions to the property could have been more clear. For the price we paid for two nights and the condition of the home when we arrived, we were very disappointed.”

“Becca was a sweetheart. our room was overbooked by mistake. She went the extra mile to ensure we found a place just up the road to stay for the very busy weekend. We were so thankful that the local hosts all work together to ensure everyone has a great stay in the area. Thanks you so much for your willingness to work together to solve these kinds of issues. “House was immaculately clean, in extremely pleasant surroundings. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings very much, overall a nice stay but there were some challenges. On the downside: We had some difficulty on the steep gravel driveway with our one non 4 wheel drive vehicle. The mattresses on the main level were extremely firm and uncomfortable. I was traveling with 2 disabled elderly folks, which I had discussed with the host; the queen sized bed sat up way too high……

“I love staying here. It is so clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the front porch soaking in the beautiful natural world. It far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet but close enough to grab delicious food for meals. I’ll always stay here when visiting Eminence.”

“Perfect river weekend getaway house for friends to get together. I wish we would have stayed at least one more night. This house is a lot bigger than it appears. Plenty of quiet and comfort. Kids loved the mini-ping pong table. Getting to see the northern lights one of the nights was definitely a plus and memorable experience.”

“My family and I stayed for several days in honor of what would have been my dads 65th birthday. We couldn't have had a better time. The cabin is so charming and close to town for everything you could need. Although it's close to the road, there is minimal noise as it is pretty rural. We loved sitting on the wrap around deck watching the birds and listening to the whippoorwill's in the evening. The cabin has everything you could need - I would love to go there in the winter for that wood stove……

“Such a quant home with plenty of room to move around. Bedrooms are nice sized and the yard space has a firepit and outdoor games . It was nice not to be on Main street and feel the comfort of small town living”
