"Wonderful place! Everything was clean and neat , property was beautiful. My husband did a little fishing, the 2 swing overlooking the river, were the so comfortable.Only negative was the sofa, way too short, making it difficult to stand up."

"My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the mountains, listening to the babbling brook flowing by the property. The location is very quiet, with hardly any traffic on the mostly private road alongside the property. The lodging itself is comfortable and well stocked. It is showing some wear and tear and could use some maintenance attention; for example, the screen on the doors have tears in them that do not keep flying bugs out. Also, we could not identify how to turn down the volume on the TV in the main room. It is set a little high in volume. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While feeling somewhat remote, we were only 10 minutes from Young Harris and 15 from either Blairsville or Hiawassee, all of which had local stores, pharmacies, medical facilities, and restaurants. There are also recreational activity options, though we were not looking for that, but rather for relaxation and peace and a break from our daily routine."

"Nicely appointed. Nice amenities. Spaceous. Wrap around porch partially screened for bug-free relaxing. Hot tub is a plus. The only problem we had, and it is a minor one, was that the security alarm kept going off but since it isn't monitored, it was just a matter of resetting it. We suspect the batteries needed changing."

"Enjoyed staying at the cabin. The Shining Light Baptist Church is about 5 miles away and possibly one of the 5 best preachers I have heard while traveling. Staying beside Bitter Creek, we had to watch the movie with Lindsey Wagner "Nightmare at Bitter Creek". (it's on YouTube.) I would have liked to put my chair in the creek and soak my feet for a few hours, but there is no handrail going down to the water, which would have made the stay more enjoyable. While the wrap around sofa on the deck looks nice, it is not comfortable."

"The cabin was spacious and clean. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly. It is in a very peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting in the porch in the morning and listening to the birds singing. The woods were a bit overgrown so although we could see the mountains, it was not as much of a view as in the photo."

"This is a wonderful cabin. It's spacious, clean, and has a marvelous view of the mountains. Is the cabin quiet? Well, not exactly. You'll hear the songs of birds while they cheerfully wish you good morning, the gentle rustle of leaves in the trees, and the buzz of the occasional bee as it travels by. You get the picture! Unlike with many cabins, the drive to the property is not up a long, winding, wild road. The cabin is remote, and yet quick and easy to get to. A bonus is that grocery stores are nearby. It's only a few miles to Ingles in Blairsville or Hiawassee. (Blairsville is a bit closer and is a larger store.) I highly recommend this property."
