“Thank goodness we trusted the reviews that said to “stop searching and book this place.” Our family of 4 had a wonderful 5 night stay. The location is excellent, the apartments are spacious and clean. The breakfast alone makes it an easy “yes.” The staff is what makes the experience. They communicated well prior to our arrival. They were invaluable resources to us for travel plans and questions. We felt right at home. We began as strangers and left as friends. ”

“Wonderful family owner renovated 1920’s palace which has secure parking in an excellent location on the edge of the beautiful old city. The owner and staff give their very best to make your stay the best it can be. Highly recommend the first floor front rooms which have a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink on in the morning sunshine. The Garbo also has a spa in the room! Breakfast was always a warm, friendly, fun filled occasion”

“Alberto is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to help. His place is tucked into the top floor and has a side deck that is beautiful. One has to ascend to the bed area by a ships ladder but its very comfy. Also the shower is fabulous. A real treat to stay here. ”

“The Baroque suite was spacious with comfortable king bed. Location was great, very quiet and within easy walking distance to everything. Lecce is a lovely city--if we come back we'll stay here again.”

“This was the worst experience I have ever had. The car pulled up in front of a garage with no indication there was a hotel inside the building. We found an elevator at the back with no signage indicating there was a hotel or where the hotel was located. Once we found the floor the hotel was on we could not enter as the door was locked. We finally got the hotel clerk on the intercom who tried to tell us how to enter, but we could not understand him until several tries. He would not come to the……

“Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment.”

“B&B Molto pulito( e di questi tempi non è sempre così) funzionale, e ben strutturato. Personale gentilissimo. A due passi dalla stazione centrale è comodissimo per chi arriva o parte.”
