Great place to stay in Rome, right next to Coliseo

Our short stay here was excellent. Stefano helped us getting accommodated and allowed us to store our luggage before and after our stay, while we were touring Rome. The only caveat was that we had to pay €6 per day, per person that we didn't know it was required.

Convenient place near the colosseum

The owner was nice and helpful. We got there late (after 9:30pm) so she met us then. We didn't know there was a charge of 10 euros after 8:30pm, 20 euros after 10:30pm, 30 euros after 11:30pm, 50 euros after 12am. I didn't know the room is only serviced between 10-11am so we couldn't get fresh towels the second day. You have to let her know before 11am each day when you will be gone. Also, for Americans, the lack of a toilet seat and lid are somethings that are difficult to adjust to. The room was clean. The area was nice and easy to get to the colosseum, restaurants, etc.

Firstly, this was a small room in a shared condo. As an Anerican, the term "B&B" made me picture a hotel-like environment with breakfast (the listing said continental breakfast added for a surcharge - but no breakfast was offered during the weeklong stay). As a shared living space, there is a hall with a callbox on it for people to buzz in. Unfortunately this happened several times late at night, once waking us at 1am the day we were due to travel home and really didn't want to be tired. Oh well. Yes, the bathroom was private. However, the shower drain desperately needed to be snaked, as it nearly flooded about 3 minutes into the first shower. We took to shutting off the water when going to wash ourselves or our hair to prevent a mess. We were provided about 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. We didn't want to bug them and thought we'd have the room cleaned after just the 1st day there, but we weren't always out of the room between 10am-11am (the timeframe to have the room cleaned), so we ended up having to buy our own toilet paper by about the 3rd day. Oops. On the plus side, the air conditioner worked! But it leaked on the floor, so we had to use one of our only towels to dedicate it to soaking that up daily. The TV didn't work, which was fine. We weren't there for TV. We were charged 72 euros for the Rome city taxes, but we had already paid through Expedia. We weren't told about this in our communication with the property ahead of time. Unfortunate.

Super dejligt sted

Fantatisk ophold, fint rent og hyggeligt værelse med god udsigt over byen i Monti området. Kun 10 min. gang til Termini (deres Hovedbanegård). Hvor toget til lufthavnen kører direkte. Det ligger dejligt centralt, med gåafstand til det meste.

It's a room.

Bra läge, rent och fräscht!

Bra b&b med gångavstånd till såväl centralstationen som många sevärdheter och restauranger. Tyst och rent och området kändes säkert. Tänk dock på att hotellet inte har någon reception! Frukosten som ingick var sådär, mer fokus på söta saker.

Tudo uma tragédia... Inicialmente o endereço da hospedagem não é o descrito (Via Cavour 172), que se trata da loja de calçados do marido da peroprietária. Você terá de caminhar mais uns 200m até a Via di Santa Maria Maggiori 151 (Endereço correto). Reservei um apartamento com 1 cama de casal e 1 cama de solteiro, que não estava presente no quarto e também não foi entregue. A proprietária sumiu e só reapareceu no outro dia. Não havia toalhas de banho suficiente e as que estavam lá eram pouco maiores que uma toalha de rosto! Café da manhã foi insuficiente e de pouca qualidade... Vizinhança estranha a partir do fim da tarde!

Etablissement très bien tenu.

Excellent accueil, la convivialité des propriétaires de l'établissement est omniprésente et très avenante. L'organisation du transport entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel est efficace. Je recommande cet établissement par ailleurs bien situé dans Rome et proche de la gare Termini.

Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt in Rom war B&B-Colosseum hervorragend geeignet: fußläufig zur Forum Roman gelegen, stellt die Unterkunft einen idealen Standort für die fußläufige Erkundung Roms. Der Eigentümer hat ein kleines Geschäft, direkt in der Nähe, ist hilfsbereit. Er hat uns phantastische Lokale empfohlen und die Reservierung für uns getätigt. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet, die Sanitäranlagen hervorragend.

B & B Colosium

This B & B is actually a rented apartment, they provide pre packed snacks as the breakfast. One A/C didn't work, locks to enter we're difficult to operate as they were worn, bathroom window opens onto next doors courtyard. But location was good, close to centre and the Colosium etc, OK but not worth the money charged.

Great place and great Price for stay in Rome!

The hotel was great. Very good location, clean, refrigerator in room. Dominic, the owner met us on arrival and took us to our room and also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the hotel to bring us to the airport when we checked out. The price was below the going rate. The wifi worked most of the time from our room. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Not just a B&B

This was really an apartment. It consisted of three rooms - sitting/dining room, spacious bathroom and a large bedroom. Breakfast was provided, with a small fridge, microwave & coffee machine available. Crockery and cutlery was also provided and was all provided for in enclosed cupboards. There was a double bed and a separate lounge which would also sleep two. Another lounge was also provided in the sitting room. The position of the place was excellent, being situated closer to the Termini train station and very close to the Colosseum . In fact, it is close to everything. The apartment was very clean, with some-one coming every day to make the bed and clean.

Parfait!!! Chambres dans un bâtiment de la rue Cavour situé à quelques minutes de la gare et très bien situé. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et à l'écoute de vos besoins. Le petit déjeuner se compose de croissants, biscottes et confitures. café à disposition, frigo avec boissons, TV... bref tout le confort d'un petit appartement.sans supplément de prix. On se rapproche plus d'un appartement que d'un hotel. Bref, pour le prix, c'est vraiment génial. Merci encore au propriétaire!!!!!! BRAVO

Good value

Staff was very helpful via email before our arrival until our depature. Walking distance to major attractions & the Termini. We only stayed one night before our cruise. Metro station is footsteps away. Able to catch the metro to the Termini(luggage too heavy to walk distance)
