When we first opened the door, the stairs were daunting but after getting our heavy bags up to the room level, all was good, very good. Our room was a quite comfortable and our bathroom, while private was down the hall. Breakfast was wonderful and is seven indoors when chilly and outdoors when warm. There is a large purpose living space overlooking a pedestrian area. The recreations and shops all around. You are one block from the water and the beach. A great place to stay and close to FCO.

Great hospitality & communication!!! Parking is wild, as all of Rome. Cute little room, comfortable bed and private bath. Hot water supply goes fast; only criticism.

We stayed at the Barocchetto Romano after our cruise, and before going to the airport for a flight back home. This was a perfect place to close off our vacation. First, the location is wonderful. Moments from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shopping, all in a pedestrian area (so no cars passing by our building!). Our hosts were charming, and very accommodating. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to let us drop off our bags so we could explore the neighbourhood – this may not always be an option, but ask, they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The unit itself is reached by stairs. They have a secure door at the bottom of the stairs, as well as one at the top – we appreciated this sense of security, although the neighbourhood is so nice I don’t see any need for concern. Once through the door at the top of the stairs you come to a marvelous terrace, with lots of seating, and even an ocean view. When we weren’t out exploring, or sleeping, we spent much of our time up there with a glass of wine, and meeting some wonderful guests staying in another room. There is a well equipped kitchen, with lots of treats available (nominal cost). They had a great coffee machine, and served a fantastic breakfast. The décor is very charming, and you feel at home rather than feeling you are in a hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again; fantastic hosts, excellent location near the beach and the airport, and perfect place to just unwind. Highly recommended A

I liked the property and the staff. Perla was very helpful and gave good suggestions. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping area right there. The only problem I had was with the bathroom that was outside of the room and we had to cross the living room to get access. The description said we had a "private bathroom " which I thought was joined with our bedroom. But we were the only one using it and we had a key and it was cleaned and supplied with fresh towels every day, so we managed.

Barocchetto Romano es un encantador lugar en las playas de Ostia. Sus habitaciones son muy acogedoras y lindamente decoradas. Cuenta con na hermosa terraza desde donde puedes ver el mar y esta ubicado en medio de excelentes restaurantes. Si vas a Roma descansa tu ultimo dia aqui ya que esta muy cerca del aeropuerto y te servira para relajarte con la super atencion de sus anfitriones.

Falsche Beschreibung der "Hotelanlage"
Die "Hotelanlage" vollkommen falsch ausgeschrieben. Es sind keine Parkpläze zur verfügung. Nur die öffentlichen Parkplätze an der Strasse, für welche man den ganzen Tag und bis 24.00 Uhr in der Nacht eine Stunde wartet, bis einer frei wird. Da wir mit dem Auto angereist waren, haben wir uns nach der ersten Nacht ein anderes Hotel gesucht. Das sehr einfache Frühstück ist Selbstbedienung. Personal kommt erst um 08,30 Uhr. Die sanitären Anlagen lassen zu wünschen übrig und musste mit Fremden geteilt werden. Nichts von einem Luxury Loft. Jedoch ist die Terasse zum Verweilen sehr gut. In der Nacht mussten wir über Umwegen zum Zimmer kommen, da mit dem Eingangsschlüssel die Türe nicht geöffnet werden konnte. Um das Meer zu sehen, müsste man aufs Dach steigen. Für Gäste, welche gerne im Zentrum logieren und nicht viel Komfort verlangen, ist der Standort gut mit vielen Restaurants in der Umgebung.
