well worth it!

Great hotel! Small place, just about 6-10 rooms, but the owner is a greeaattt host!! He is always available at the front desk to answer questions and make great conversation! Breakfast was included and adequate. Rooms are larger than most I have been in in Italy. Room had a large bathroom, comfortable large bed, adequate shower with great water pressure as well as a balcony where you can smoke. Hotel is in a residential area, about 5 blocks from area where the nightlife and shopping starts. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean, quiet, welcoming, well-located

Welcoming, quiet, clean. Rather old-fashioned décor, but I quite liked that. The room was small and shaded, as it faced an inner courtyard (probably an advantage in summer), but was very comfortable and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was a joy - good lighting, good shower. Roberto was a delight to talk to and so welcoming. Being so close to the tram line was convenient, too. I was glad I chose this place.

Stor, men hård seng. Morgenmaden var ikke særlig god, da den primært bestod af færdiglavede kager og brød, som blev åbnet fra pakker. Der manglede noget mere friskt. Udover det var servicen god, da ejeren var meget hjælpsom når man havde brug for det. Fin størrelse værelse. Rigtig god beliggenhed.

A quiet refuge in Rome's Trastevere neighborhood.

We found the location to be ideal. Caligola is located on a quiet street, away from the hustle and bustle of Trastevere. However, it is only a short walk to the tram, the the bus lines, to several good restaurants and even a Carrefour grocery store. Roberto, the host, is very welcoming and provides good information about Rome's logistics and public transport. Our room and bathroom were very large and even included a small terrace. We appreciated the healthy breakfast. One suggestion would be to include some non-Italian TV stations for the international guests.

Flink hotel ejer meget hjælpsom, hjemlige forhold, ejer bor på stedet. WiFi fungerede perfekt -. Området er hyggeligt med de bedste romerske restauranter - sporvognen køre lige uden for døren, og di står inde i centrum af Rom på få minutter.

Excellent stay in Trastevere, Rome

We absolutely loved everything about this cute bed and breakfast in Trastevere, Rome. Our suite had a good sized balcony (unfortunately didn't get to use due to the weather) with table and chairs. The bed was comfortable, room had a mini fridge (with some options for purchase ie coke, wine, water), safe, hair dryer, tv, etc. What made our stay here so fantastic was Roberto, the Owner. He is very friendly, accommodating, informative and a great baker. He made the most amazing, tasty, traditional Italian cakes for us and his breakfast and coffees were fantastic. Thank you so much for making our stay to Rome so wonderful.

Excellent hotel. Wonderfully friendly and accommodating host! Fabulous breakfast with freshly made dishes. Apple strudel was great. Great for the money and location in Trastevere. Two minute walk to the tram and main avenue. Great stay!

kleines Hotel im Herzen von Rom!

Wir waren 1 Woche bei Roberto, es ist ein kleines(7 Zimmer) Hotel, eher Bed and Breakfast aber genau das was wir erwartet haben und für einen Roma-Aufenthalt mit vielen kulturellen Besichtigungen und Highlights genau der richtige Startort, da es sehr zentral gelegen ist und mal fast alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen kann ( Kolosseum ca. 20 min. Vatikan ca. 30 min). Die Betreuung von Roberto und ist sehr familiär und liebevoll. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und das Preis Leistungsverhältniss ist sehr gut!

Kleines persönlich geführtes Hotel

Ich kann das Mini-Hotel empfehlen. Die Lage ist super! Vom Hotel zur Straßenbahn Nr. 8 sind es nur 2 Minuten zu laufen und dann sind nur 5 min Fahrt und man ist am Plaza Venezia. Es ist sauber, klein (wirkt eher wie eine Wohnung) und der freundliche Mann an der Rezeption ist super nett, zuvorkommend und kümmert sich liebevoll um seine Gäste. Er hat viele Tipps, macht ein kleines aber leckeres Frühstück. Jeden Tag wird das Zimmer gereinigt und die Preise der Minibar sind sehr human. Wir hatten "nur" die Aussicht in den kleinen Innenhof und den ein oder anderen Nachbar hört man auch. Für einen verlängerten Rom-Trip ist es wirklich zu empfehlen - vorallem von der Lage und der Freundlichkeit des Mannes an der Rezeption.

Appena arrivati scopriamo che la camera matrimoniale prenotata non era disponibile, causa "dimenticanza" del titolare nell'aggiornare le disponibilità su Expedia. Veniamo dunque dirottati su una singola con letto da una piazza e mezza. La camera purtroppo non brillava per la pulizia: un dito di polvere sui mobili, un asciugamano sporco, il bagno con qualche traccia del passaggio precedente. Nulla da ridire sul titolare. Complessivamente esperienza negativa.

価格はリーズナブルでホテルのオーナーもすごく親切で良かったですが、場所が非常に分かりにくいのと部屋のクーラーが今にも壊れそうな音でうるさかったのが残念。1泊だけで翌朝も早かったので朝食も食べれなかったので評価が難しいです。
