We only stayed one night but overall, it was a great place to stay for our layover. It was convenient to the airport and not too far from the center of Rome. The apartment was clean and David was very helpful getting us in and settled. The beds were not really beds, more like cots and a pull out couch. A friend staying with us had his feet hanging off the end in his room (he is very tall though). Those smaller cots are good for kids.

David was an exceptional host - kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The apartment was spotless, modern, and located in a quiet neighborhood. The air conditioning was a huge bonus, especially during the heat wave. Despite being close to the airport, we barely noticed any plane noise. David also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations and even offered to make reservations for us. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay

The property is very nice, super clean and has everything you need. The owner was very helpful and pleasant and the area has many restaurants and coffee shops. Fantastic place to stay especially if you need to be close to the airport.

Perfect airport location

David's place was an excellent location to stay for our early morning flight back to the States. David was a very helpful and accommodating host and his parents, who helped check us in, are as sweet and authentic as you can get! We highly recommend this property for your stay.

I needed a nite in Rome due to airplane connections so we chose something close. David was most generous & we had one of the best meals - at the mouth of the Tiber river The morning we left there were gale winds & our host offered to block the apartment in case travel was cancelled. Amazing home to stay in!

The property manager you talk to is fast on the responses and very informative. His parents who meet you at the property itself are the sweetest thing! Very caring and simply want you to enjoy their hospitality.

Great place!

We chose this home because it was close to the airport. David was so kind and helped arrange for a taxi the next morning. The house is great, and we loved having the little outdoor garden area. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place with a phenomenal host

David’s apartment was clean, well appointed, decorated with class, and easy walking distance in numerous great restaurants by the canal. But what really made our stay special was David. We warmly greeted us and walked us around the property. He helped coordinate two different taxi rides for my family. 6-stars for David!

Spacious, quiet stay close to airport.

Our host, David, met us as we arrived and explained everything about the apartment. The apartment itself was super clean, quiet and comfortable. The Asian themed decor was lovely and warm. David’s communication with us was spot on. We were only able to stay one night as we were leaving back to the states the next day. David also arranged a taxi ride to the airport for us! I would highly recommend staying at this very comfortable home!

David was the perfect host, greeted us at the door with a smile on his face. Gave us a tour of the house and garden area. We stayed just one night prior to a flight home. He arranged two separate taxis for us to get to the airport in the morning. 10/10 would stay here again

Great location and host

Close proximity to the Rome Airport. Great host, he understands & speaks English really well. He helped accommodate anything we needed, including calling on our behalf to reserve/schedule a taxi to the airport on our departure day.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at David’s house. The house is 9 minutes from FCO airport and has alll of the amenities that you would need. This is a very clean 3 bedroom home. Fenced and secure with ample parking out front. Restaurants close by. And David is the most gracious and caring host and is extremely helpful. We had flight delays and he helped us out of a few jams and put our minds at ease. We would definitely recommend David’s home.

Perfect hidden gem

We stayed at David’s place after a trip to Amalfi Coast. We had 1 night before a morning flight and didn’t want the hassle of getting out to the airport that early. David was fantastic with communication and setting up a taxi for morning pickup. The place was spacious and perfect for the 4 of us. Beautiful outdoor area but it was too hot outside for us to want to use! Would stay here anytime flying in/out of Rome!

Rome Airport stay

David's apartment was very convenient for our early morning flights from the Rome airport. David was very communicative before our arrival. David also arranged for a taxi for us in the morning, which appeared right on time. The airport is a quick 10 minute, 25 Euro taxi ride from the apartment. At arrival we were greeted by David's parents who showed us the apartment and also the local take-out pizza shop for our late dinner. This is a charming apartment and very convenient. We would stay at this apartment again.

Great apartment!

David was the best host! He met us at the apartment when we arrived, ordered us a taxi for the next morning trip to the airport, and very quicky came to fix a small issue we had with a key. The apartment is very clean and attractive; the garden area is lovely. The location was perfect -- quiet yet just a few blocks from restaurants and a quick ride to the airport. Thank you David!

Great stay close to airport

Lovely home very close to airport. Very private and secure property close to restaurants. Wifi worked well. Beds were firm but comfortable . Thank goodness for the A/C as it was very hot out. Kitchen with basic amenities. Percolator coffee pot. David the host is excellent. His parents checked us in and were just lovely. David arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport and always responded quickly to any questions.

Get a good night’s sleep before your flight

This is such a great place to stay for an early morning flight as it is a 10 minute ride to the airport (as opposed to the 45 minute ride from Rome). David was in frequent contact with us, met us for our late arrival and gave us a quick but thorough orientation including restaurants and mini mart within a block. He arranged for our 6 am van (too much luggage). The home is easy access on the ground level, well-equipped and immaculate. This will be the ONLY place we will book before a flight departure from Rome in the future.
