Did not like the showers - water too often would ricochet and create a giant pool on the bathroom floor. There also wasn't wifi details in the room itself which was odd - we had to call down to the front desk to obtain them.

This hotel is so beautiful and historical. The service is impeccable. We were greeted so kindly and energetically even at a 2:00 AM arrival! It is a bit out of the center of everything but the front desk arranged a taxi very quickly. Trastevere area is a lively area with many restaurants and shops and that is right where the hotel is.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Garten, sehr gut gelegen, aber insgesamt Zimmer die schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen sind, durch die einfachen Türen und Fenster auch recht laut. Daher für den Preis leider keine unbedingte Empfehlung

Beautiful hotel that is a former monastery! It is in walking distance to a ton of wonderful dining and shopping options. The staff was so kind and helpful, and on-site restaurant (Contempo) was fantastic!

This was my second year running to this hotel as I enjoyed it so much the first time round. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. We had two executive double rooms which were very nice. The only slight annoyance was that there were quite a few small ants coming in through cracks in the tiles on the floor. This obviously can’t be helped as ants will find a way in if they want to, but not ideal when they’re climbing onto the bed. Aside from this the breakfast staff, and concierge were very polite and accommodating. Matteo on the front desk was also very polite, as were the staff when we checked in. We did have an issue when checking out. The room key comes attached to a large tassel which is heavy, we removed this and left it on the bedside table. After the cleaner had cleaned the room, the tassel had gone. We didn’t think much about it as assumed it had been given into the front desk. Upon checkout we were told that if the cleaner had found it she would have returned it to reception and that we must have lost it, which was not the case! She told us to double check the room twice, which we did. We had to argue the point that it was taken from the room. the lady at the front desk would not accept this and kept suggesting we had lost it, and that we would need to pay a €80 fee. After arguing our point, the reception staff agreed to wave the cost. This definitely let down the overall stay as we left feeling quite annoyed and let down. The fact was it was taken.

Lovely stay! The perfect location for our first trip to Rome. Out of the crowds, but so convenient to everything. We especially enjoyed the restaurant. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely property with helpful staff, terrific breakfasts and situated as advertised. However I would avoid this hotel. My booking was a poor decision but fortunately it was only for two nights. The problem is the rooms are tiny. No sofa, no chair, only one nightstand and the “desk” was a makeup table on which a laptop barely fit. The only “chair” was a low stool with no back. It was impossible to sit and read. Very uncomfortable and unusable except to sleep. I should also add that the small throw rug, which covered 1/2 the floor, was not secured and slid in such a way as to create a hazard - and when I put the sole nightstand on top of it the staff removed the weight to recreate the tort factory. The bathroom was so small there is no room to change one’s mind. The shower could not be used by a normal size person. The shower head sprayed water all over the room because the fitting was incorrect - the spray went over the top of the ill-fitting shower door. (A chat with the front desk did not lead to a repair.) The WiFi was less than ideal even for my brand new top of the line Apple computer and iPhone. The strength of signal was barely sufficient. In order to initially log on one has to sign in to a portal and agree to receive massive quantities of spam advertising, requiring wasted effort to change settings to disregard. On top of the surprisingly high rates, I made a mistake and agreed to pay an additional 40 Euros a night for the view. Not worth 4 cents
