Excellent

We had a great stay at Ecce Roma. Daniel and Alessandro were excellent hosts and helped us with all of our questions. Great spot very close to termini, and walking distance to many great restaurants. Everything was excellent about this stay.

Good for a quick stop between traveling

The location was very close to the train station which worked great for us! However, like most cities the area near the train station isn’t the nicest. We were just there for one night before leaving, and only interacted with people via Whatsapp, but we got in easily!

Property is a 2 minute walk to Termini Rail Station so that is a bonus. The property is on one floor with only a few rooms. Area can feel unsafe although some nice restaurants nearby.

A great spot for a weekend in Rome

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, its in a great location - within 5 minutes from the train station and within 30 minutes from most of the main attactions. The bed was comfortable and the room was cool thanks to the air con. It could be noisy at times, but wasnt awful. I would recommended this hotel to a friend and i would stay again. Its a perfect base for a trip sightseeing in Rome.

Very conveniently located near the train station. The surrounding area is not great, but there are shops and good restaurants around. It is noisy, and the street trains vibrate the whole building, but they did provide ear plugs, which helped. The shower was nice, and the beds were comfortable.

The staff was very easy to contact before & during our stay. They accomodated us very kindly. Within a 30min walk from major local attractions and 5 min walk to the train station. Given the entrance is in an alleyway, it can feel a little isolated from major roadways. In saying that we still felt safe coming and going even late into the evenings. If you're a light sleeper, as is fully disclosed, this location is right next to a street car. Again the staff is very kind in providing earplugs.

I know some others have commented on the tram noise but I didnt hear anything, though was in a room on the back. Having stayed in another area in Rome, Sorrento, and Florence, we slept best here. There was lots of stoage in the 2 closet units. On the 3rd floor there is also a great shared terrace area with lots of seating in a garden setting. A great area for a drink after a long day of walking.

We were only here for two nights before a cruise and wanted easy walking to Roma termini. This fit the bill. I felt secure in the building. Area around is a little sketch but nothing crazy. I wouldn’t walk around here at night and the tram was no big deal. It is loud for like two seconds every once in a while depending on the day. The bigger issue than the noise of the tram is being run over by the tram walking on the street lol. I would stay here again if needed depending on my priorities. Stay here if you want a comfortable and clean room that’s relatively inexpensive and close to the train station.

We chose this property after being in the area last year. We were aware of the tram that ran outside the hotel. We were not aware that the tram ran on two sides of the property. The tram is very noisy and could shake the room depending on which tram went by. The tram stops from midnight to 5:30 am, but is frequent the rest of the time. The property is very close to the Termini station, that is why we chose it. This area has really deteriorated over the last couple of years and felt quite "gritty." The staff were helpful and we appreciated the elevator. The floor of the shower in our room (room 6) was very soft and there was an odour in the bathroom that we think was related to this.

Great jumping off point for Termini

Short 4 min walk to train station, right next to a major beautiful basilica for the Catholic Church, excellent restaurants nearby. Clean, spacious, modern, quiet, would stay again for proximity to termini.

The hotel has a very good location when you come to Rome by train. Many good places to eat right next to the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and we got a room before the regular check-in time. We had a 3-bed room and even though we had only booked a room for 2, it was no problem to get our son booked into the same room the day before we arrived in Rome for a small fee. We can absolutely recommend this hotel.

The place was newly renovated, very clean and everyday our was cleaned. The location is just perfect - it is 3-5 minutes away from the central station (Termini), the colosseum is jus 15 minutes away. Best part is that from Termini you can reach to every part of Rome within few minutes with the subway. There are many restaurants, tabbachis around the guest house as well. We would definitely stay again if we ever come back to Rome!

Very very very noisy!

Ok location, but very very noisy! Not just the trams directly out the front, but internally with constant slamming of doors, moving of heavy furniture on wooden floors and guest coming and going 27/7. If you want a good night sleep, look elsewhere!

Eh, 1 night more than enough.

Room was decent, pretty bare. It was very loud in the room. The shower had a bad design, all the water went everywhere. Felt more like a hostel not a 3 star hotel.

가족여행 첫숙소였는데 너무 만족했습니다 위치는 더할나위 없이 역근처라 이동이 편하고 침구도 편안했고 넓지는 않지만 4인이 쓰기에 부족함이 없었어요 겨울에 갔는데 따뜻하고 특히 화장실이 따뜻해서 맘에듬. 직원분들도 친절하시고 소통도 잘 되었습니다 전반적으로 너무 만족했습니다 🤗

El lugar es muy cómodo, la cama muy bien, limpio y con buen olor, el baño en buenas condiciones a excepción de que el lavamanos estaba un poco flojo. Hay mucho ruido algunas noches ya que frente pasa un tranvía (metro), sin embargo, tienen el cuidado de dejarte unos tapones para los oídos, en nuestro caso llegábamos tan cansados que ni los utilizamos. La atención de Alessandro fue excelente, nos ayudó con un tema de las maletas y fue muy atento. Cerca hay muchos restaurantes y está solo a tres cuadras de la estación del tren, todo está accesible a pie. Regresaría de nuevo a hospedarme.
