As said in previous reviews, the place was very clean and organized. My husband and I felt very safe and comfortable , the room was big enough with all our bags and personal stuff . Breakfast has good choices next door. Matilde is a wonderful host . We will stay there again on our next trip to Rome , it is also close to The Vatican with lots of restaurants around .

Very homely and the host very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Had everything you could need for short break. Safe area and good location for the Vatican area and access to Metros. Recommend.

B&B was perfect, the amentites were as expected, location was simple for walking and transit access, and adjacent cafe for complimentary drink and pastry were delicious. Fall weather was perfect. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. Host was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend to 1-2 person groups.

We booked a three-day and three-nights stay with Matilde and four of my friends bed and breakfast this past May and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Matilde is an incredibly kind and caring host and she has a keen attention to detail. She gave us a great explanation of how to access the building, talked to us about the different sites nearby, told us a couple of things to look out for, and had a binder of resources on the nightstand that told us everything we needed to know about the location and different things to do in Rome. She includes a breakfast coupon for each night you stay for a lovely little cafe next door that is quite popular with the locals. You'll get a coffee and a croissant and let me tell you it is absolutely delicious. The service there is incredibly friendly and fast and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Her house is just steps from the Vatican and is easily accessible with respect to public transit for both the bus and the primary metro line. We loved our stay here and we would highly recommend it to any other couples who are staying in Rome for their honeymoon or for a vacation!!

2 days in Rome

This was great!!! Perfect location, close enough to sights yet not in touristy area. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Can't say enough good things about the host and would definitely stay here again.

Very close to Vatican access and Metro B line, and several key bus routes. Many local eateries that hit the spot. Host is available to help all needs. Secured us a last minute taxi which was great to train station when we decided not to lug around bags on Metro. Place is secure, well described. No complaints.

Trip to Rome

Our stay with Matilde was very enjoyable. The room and bathroom were very clean and quaint. The location was a very short walk to the Vatican and lots of great restaurants. We would definitely stay again if we travel back to Rome.

Excellent stay

Our stay was really good. Location is very central to the metro, walking distance to Vatican City, so safe, we walked everywhere until late hours at night. Matilde was more than helpful when we needed luggage hold service. We e would love to come back and stay here again.
