While it does have everything you need I found the bed to be very uncomfortable and the floor being what feels like cemet it's not the best after a lot of walking. I would recommend here as a backup because it is in a good location and the staff is friendly.

Svensson Rome Visit

Pietra is a small hotel very well located in the middle of Rome, with walking distance to all major attractions. No staff on site (except cleaning staff) and no breakfast but that was not an issue. Many restaurants around for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Martina was extremely helpful and service-minded and helped us a lot.

We stayed here on our trip to Rome and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent — the staff were very funny, friendly, and welcoming, which made us feel at home straight away. The room was spotless, with cleaning and fresh towels every day, which we really appreciated. The only reason I left 4 stars instead of 5 was the air conditioning. While it went down to 18°C, it didn’t blow much air, so even on full power it didn’t feel cool enough — and with 35°C outside, proper cooling was definitely needed. That being said, everything else was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this place 100% and would happily return!

Very friendly and accomodating and in a really convenient part of town, Prati. Metro 2 blocks. Lots of restaurants. Martina gave us lots of spot on recommendations. We stayed a week. In our unit, the space for clothes was limited but not sure about other units. In any case was great, would do again

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The first room we were given had very noisy, creaky beds that made loud sounds with even slight movement. We raised this issue with the housekeeping staff, who were quick to assist and arranged for us to move to another room, which resolved the problem. The bathroom was clean, although the hair dryer was quite old and its plug did not fit properly into the socket. The room had a working coffee machine and kettle, as well as a fridge, but there were no complimentary water bottles or drinks provided. For the price we paid, it would have been nice if breakfast was included. While the stay was comfortable overall, we expected a bit more in terms of amenities and attention to detail for the rate charged.

Pietra is fantastic. This was a visit after a Covid cancellation two years ago. The rebooking was easy and Pietra accommodating. Gianluca was welcoming and gave us some great local tips. The property is well located and Prati a great area to stay in. Our room was contemporary and comfortable. I would definitely look to stay here on my next visit to Rome.

Alojamiento muy bien situado, a 10 minutos andando del Vaticano y del Castel Sant'Angelo. A menos de 5 minutos del metro. Muy buena zona, llena de restaurantes y cafeterías, útiles ya que no se ofrece desayuno. Diseño de la habitación moderno, muy chula. El problema es la nula insonorización, se oye absolutamente todo y la nula opacidad de la cortina, entra muchísima luz por las mañanas, imposible dormir.

Das Hotel ohne Rezeption liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig mitten in "Prati". Von dort ist das Centro storico in all seinen Facetten gut fußläufig erreichbar und die Umgebung selbst gut für Shopping und authentisches Essen geeignet. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße und war deshalb sehr laut. Die Kommunikation vor Ankunft mit Absprache des Check-in via WA klappte sehr gut. Dieser war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Danach war leider komplette "Sendepause" und unsere Bitten um einen Zimmerwechsel zur Hofseite wurde zwar quittiert aber schlicht nicht beantwortet, nicht einmal freundlich abgelehnt.

저녁에 도착이라고 미리 말 못해서 첫째날 체크인못함. 예약4박 중 3박은 하려고 다음날 오후에 전화해서 연락함. 근데 주인이 어제 오기로 한 날 체크인 안했으니 다 취소됐다는 어의없는 말을 함. 취소됐음 3박 환불받냐니까 환불도 못해주겠다는 ㄱㅐ소리를 하심. 우린 영어를 잘 하는 편이었고 하나하나 따지니 그때서야 숙소로 오겠다고 함. 막상 만나서는 굉장히 친절하게 대해줘서 좀 풀렸는데.. 처음에 전화로 했던 말 때문에 정말 기분나빴음. 숙소상태는 가성비 최고였던거 같음. 우린 하루종일 밖에 있기 때문에 잠만 자기에 좋았음.우리에겐 너무 좁지도 않은 방이고 깨끗하고 편하고 모든게 새것 같았음. 이탈리아 다른 호텔에서도 주인이 ㄱㅐ소리하면 침착하게 따지길 바람. 영어뮥하는 아시아인 걸리면 덤탱이 씌운다는 얘길 여럿 들음.

Pietra, Rome

We chose Pietra due to its excellent location - it is centrally located between The Vatican, the Villa Borghese Park and Piazza Navona. About a 15 minute walk to each location and lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Very easy to explore. The room is a one bedroom apartment within a residential building and the owner/manager Gianluca is extremely communicative, pleasant and helpful. If you need guidance, he will provide it. He deserves a 10/10. The facilities were fine for what we needed. Breakfast is in a bar on the street a couple of doors down. They do a high quality selection to get you on your way.

Disappointed in Rome

Location was good. Services were not great. Shortage of hot water and hygiene paper. Breakfast was supposed to be served at Vero bar next door but was closed on Sunday so no breakfast. What upset us the most is that the owner, Gianluca, never told us. Also the tv had very limited amount of channels. Be aware no soundproofing. You could hear every little noise from upstairs. All in all the accommodations were very minimalistic but good. Also the owner was not very present.

The accommodation is beautiful and the host great. The shower however does not get warm enough, and the opening at the bottom of the door let noise in from the hallway, so we woke up when other guests arrived late at night. Otherwise a perfect stay at great location.
