I did not end up staying at the hotel, so this review is about the experience I had before getting there.
Because of a war starting, our flight was cancelled and we couldn't get to the hotel.
I sent a message to the hotel and asked Expedia to cancel. Expedia couldn't contact anyone with the hotel, and never followed up on that - that is also on Expedia.
I got no response from the hotel. I know they saw the wahtsapp message. They kept sending me automated messages about the stay, ignored my message, and did not respond to a request for a refund.
Even if you do not want to refund, when someone is telling you they are stuck in a war zone with missiles falling around them, you respond simpathetically, or you should not be in the hospitality business.
Basically - this may be a decent place to stay if everything goes well with your travels, but in traveling there is a lot of uncertainty and you need a place that will communicate and have your back.
