Hotel is very clean, staff is very nice, breakfast is great just 1 block from the hotel. hotel is small, and old fashion, the only downside is that elevator is very small with wooden doors all written names and draws .. that make the hotel feels like old… other than that, great place to stay 2 nights. location is amazing.

Het was een mooie en propere kamer. Vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie. Het was niet echt een hotel, maar enkele kamers in een gebouw waar nog een ander hotel en andere activiteiten werden uitgebaat. Het ontbijt was hierdoor ook op een andere locatie, daar waren ook maar een beperkt aantal plaatsen waardoor je soms wel enig tijd moest wachten vooraleer er een tafel vrij was

We stayed three nights at Spagna Ave and overall had a lovely stay. The room was a bit on the small side, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it a great base for exploring Rome. The location was excellent — very close to the Spanish Steps and many other major sights, with lots within easy walking distance. We really appreciated being able to explore so much of the city on foot. The hotel staff were also very helpful and friendly during our stay. Breakfast was excellent each morning, although the breakfast restaurant was about a five-minute walk from the hotel itself. The only downside for us was that there was no coffee available in the room. Since many places nearby don’t open until around 7 a.m., we found ourselves walking to McDonald’s down the street for early morning coffee. Overall, though, it was a comfortable and well-located hotel for a Rome stay, and we enjoyed our time there.

This place has no amenities, and the staff was rarely there. The place was ok. The beds were very lumpy, the pillows either hard as a rock or flat. The AC/Fan didn’t work at all, and after the third person showed the hot water would be lukewarm. We were not very impressed.
