My stay was just fair

My stay was just fair. The services didn’t exceed expectations—staff members were doing their jobs but weren’t particularly attentive or going the extra mile. Given the high price, I expected a bit more in terms of hospitality and overall experience. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either—just an average stay but guess u have a better choice elsewhere in Rome

Was told by front desk breakfast was included then told by breakfast staff it was not and we had to pay 25 euro each. Was embarrassed so didn’t return for breakfast. Found out after four days we had already paid for it. We should have gone back to front desk ASAP. They offered an apology.

We stayed at The Major in Rome and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel felt fresh, modern, and spotlessly clean. It’s in a fantastic location - close to all the main sights, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring super easy. Our room faced the road, so there was a bit of noise at times, but nothing unexpected for such a central spot. Overall, a great base for a trip to Rome!

We were told the water is not fit for drinking as our hotel is new and something to do with pipes. When we protested it was agreed we will get two bottles of water everyday. On the last day they charged me for the bottles. When I protested only one bottle was removed from charge. A petty amount but it was extremely unprofessional. The picture of the building we see is the view not their own building.

Convenient for an overnight stay near the airport sure, but the rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. Small and awkward bathroom. Zero amenities available in your room, hairdryer, clothes iron and ironing board. Our stay for 1-night at €408.00, $670CAD was an absolute disappointment

The room was nice , and spacious. The area was with in walking distance to all the sights. The hallways smelled of mold, and it was impossible to figure out the lights. The staff were great, and friendly, with great insight to some great restaurants in the area.
