The room I reserved has a kitchen, which is nice. The location of the hotel is convenient. It is close to metro and Vatican. The Cleanliness of the room is satisfactory but could be better. The hotel is close to the main road, so pretty noisy. The noise level is acceptable when the window is closed but too much when the windows are opened.

This is the best hotel and apartment that I have ever stayed in Europe. The staff/owner is very nice and helpful. The room is very big. Nice decoration and new equipment. It is better than what it is shown in the photo. The water at shower is not perfect but acceptable. It is closed to metro and Vatican.

Vino e Oli is an excellent property. The apartment was comfortably furnished (full size shower!) plus the benefit of an elevator. The neighborhood is quaint and very walkable to the Vatican City. Many good restaurant options nearby. Asietta was very helpful and friendly. She arranged for transportation and was very responsive to our needs. Would highly recommend this property, and will be staying there again if ever in Rome.

Cute property in the heart of a residential area walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Conveniently close to the Vatican. Enjoyed the delicious complementary wine on arrival and olive oil upon departure. Our only knock was the on-premise laundry facilities. The washer/dryer machine combo wouldn't properly dry out clothes regardless of the load size.

Giorgia the receptionist was super nice and had everything set up nicely for us to easily check in. Building was relatively easy to find and the room was nice and tidy! It was getting quite hot in the room so we asked for a fan, which she had and kindly let us use it and even offered us the spare AC unit too! There were quite a few ants hanging around the windowsill and ended up coming into the suite when we had the windows open. But other than that, it was a lovely stay and I’m so glad we chose this place! Will definitely go back when in Rome again!!

Beautiful apartment but not perfect
I am giving good rating because the owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly and sweet and the apartment was beautiful. But some things were not working like the airflow system and some equipment did not work in the apartment and to add to that the apartment next door was being renovated so there was loud activity every morning which interrupted my sleep. I think that if the owner does better maintenance on the apartments this would be a fabulous perfect place to stay. The location and the neighboarhood was very nice, rather quiet beautiful street very close to endless shops and restaurants and the building itself is very beautyful and safe.

Run down building, very noisy neighbourhood, toilet did not flush , technicians tried for half a day but still didn’t work, air condition had the same issue Repairs in the building made it difficult to rest. Street noise and from the tenants was continuous.This building is not ready for a let out and should be taken off the market for a while before the facilities are upgraded. The girl doing the administrative work was excellent and we hesitated checking out before our time because of her . Otherwise there was nobody to help. No one after 6pm to assist us and we needed a doctor. The facilities need to be cleaned up thoroughly. Two people come in for 6 to 7 minutes, make the bed,wipe the bathroom and kitchen. Spray strong chemicals.Not vacuumed in months. Just took out the garbage. The price they charged us is not worth it at all. Construction work next door starts at 8am and the banging goes on all day. Never again for u they should refund a portion of the payment to us as it is not even a one star place to stay.

Dear Shiraz,Thank you for your review.Some of the things you wrote are true, some are incorrect.First of all, please accept my apologies for the problem to the flush, it took much more time than expected to be fixed, now it works well.Run down building? Simply it's a one century old building, in perfect shape.Air conditioning works fine, simply it stops working when windows are open.Your apartment has windows facing the courtyard and a small street: what kind of noise did you hear? Plus, we have very efficient and new soundproof windows which prevent any potential noise to come inside.It's not common to find an apartment to rent which offers a reception service.Our reception gets closed at 6pm but even after that time we are reachable through whatsapp, email, messaging and we always answer.As regards the housekeeping service (another rarity to find in apartment renting), we have a speedy everyday cleaning and a deep cleaning every three days with change of all linens, we will tell our housekeepers not to use too much chemical products; they make an excellent job, even using the vacuum.Only one day there have been some works from 9.30 till 12.30, we apologize for the unease.After having fixed all the problems everything seemed to be fine with you, we are very surprised and embittered by this review.Best regards,Federico

Wonderful place! Federico was so helpful and kind. Welcome gift was a nice addition. Quiet neighborhood, less crowded part of Rome, many restaurants and less badgering by merchants. LOVE Federico and Giorgia- they were so helpful and kind. Perfect detailed directions sent to my email a few days before. LOVE the ability to do laundry for free!!! Was able to pack our bags for trip home with clean clothes- one less thing to do when I return home jet lagged. We will recommend to everyone we know!

It was a quiet place and we felt safe at this location. I attempted to contact the owners before leaving to Rome and didn't get any responses. On my arrival Giorgina was very helpful. Thank you young lady. I do want to add that toilet paper was limited and housekeeping had to be requested. Other than that Rome was beautiful. I would definitely visit Rome again! I loved this beautiful city!

Good location, great staff, walkable to Vatican
We stayed there for 5 nights with a young child. Hotel location: Vatican city is 10-12 minutes walkable from this location. For every other Rome's attraction, you may need to take a taxi unless ready to walk more than 3 kms. The local taxi service in general is OK (not great). Uber doesn't work. For finding taxi, may have to walk 5-10 minutes depending upon how busy time it is. Food places: There are plenty of food places (breakfast, lunch / dinner bistros etc) very near to this place - less than 5 minutes walk. Staff & communication - absolutely great staff. They start sending important info via email and whatapp which is very convenient. The staff member(s) are available at property during business hours and for rest of time still accessible via whatsapp & text messages. Room: Our room was a mini suite with kitchenette, small living room and small / partitioned bedoom area. The bathroom is where my issue is. The bathtub was old fashioned and not very comfortable to take shower. The faucet system takes time to adjust the mix of hot and cold water to desired level. The bathroom surely can be fixed for better spacing. Laundry: We used laundry machine at no additional cost available at reception area with clothes drying rack. The dryer is not like a US dryer where clothes come out completely dried. Just something to note. Overall our stay at this place was good. Hotel staff helped to book taxi for us for two separate occasions which was very helpful. :) .

Prati is a great, walkable safe neighborhood with lots of good restaurants, close enough Vatican, metro. Giorgia, one of the managers, is a highlight; her restaurant and metro/direction recommendations were much appreciated. This residence could’ve been improved with better tv stations; replacing old beat up ‘rental’ furniture except the bed was very good and firm. It was noisier than I expected with screaming kids upstairs and construction and a huge dumpster right outside our window. All in all-still a better solution than a hotel or B and B. You’re paying a lot for location here. They should just either Change the advertised photos or update the stained furniture.

First off, the communication was great before we ever got to the apartment. We knew we would be arriving in Rome early in the morning, and made arrangements to drop our luggage and change. Even better, our room was available when we arrived! The Prati area is a little further away from most tourist sites, but still very walkable. The apartment was just as described…a nice sitting area and kitchenette along with separate bedroom and bathroom. The street was busier than we expected, but we still enjoyed opening the windows in the evening and letting in a nice breeze. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Rome!!
